December 16, 201015 yr I have a system in a gun club that uses the scantronic 9800 which is now becoming unreliable due to its age. It is also in a humid environment which does not help! I would like to replace the unit with a new one so am interested in the 9752. Could you tell me if this is a good choice and if it is then can I (not an alarm engineer but good with electronics) swop the unit over easily. Thank you for your advice. S. Cooke
December 16, 201015 yr As it is a gun club , I would at least consult your insurance company to ask what level of system you require.I would also get a quote from a local registered installation company , it may not be as expensive as you think , they will do a risk assessment and advise accordingly. But to answer you original query , yes the 9752 is a worthy replacement.
