Hi, I have just bought from you the Honeywell galaxy g2-12 and mk7 keypad, Honeywell 8IR150 pirs and AG6 bell box, plus Knight G2 5 door contacts. Can you please advise how to wire a pir at the pir end and panel end and where to place resistors. The g2-12 to keypad appears straightforward but does it need a resistor at the keypad end between A and B. Also do all unused zones need a resistor across them to terminate. Could you also confirm bellbox wiring to panel.

  12. Can you advise which security panel would be suitable to replace one which has failed? (only lasted 15 years, but sadly now defunct!) This unit has 6 zones (hard-wired) of which I use 4. Anything that offers similar, at least 4 hard-wired + radio to cover areas not currently covered would do. Can you suggest something? I can install it.

  14. Hello! I have recently purchased the above alarm panel kit from you as part of an intruder alarm system, which i put together using your website and purchased on the 3rd March 2010. I have received a user manual however I also require the engineers/installation manual. As the payment has cleared am I able to download this manual from your website and if so can you advise me how? I am keen to install the system as soon as possible so if you could get back to me as soon as you can it would be much appreciated. Regards! Cspudfire.[/color]

  15. I have a domestic Itec Horizon alarm system with shock sensors wired on every window and door sensors on the front and back door. The systen does not use PIR's. The main Horizon box has developed a fault and I understand these are quite old now and no longer available. Can you tell me what a modern equivalent system is that would be compatible with the existing installation - ie the window and door sensors and the price?

hi brought honeywell informa a while ago along with accenta g4 package. the problem is i can get the infroma to ring out in engineers mode but when the alarm is activated (set off) to see if it rings out it doesn't. the only time it works is when there is no power to the alarm mains or battery. i have connected the dialer to it dedicated connection and also to the +/- and the bell - but either way it still doesn't work. any ideas.

  22. I've been looking on your website and I've seen 2 products I'm interested in: ADE Honeywell Accenta Mini Gen4 with LCD Keypad. One has a product number of: 8SP400A @

  24. Could you advise please, I need a replacement vibration sensor to replace a Shockgard sensor, it looks like the 2t. It has 12 v supply and latch control and works on a Rascal Panel Are these still available or is there another unit that would act as a replacement

  25. I would like to purchase a Visonic Powerlink3 for my Powermaster10 system. Can you confirm I can use it to directly access my alarm panel remotely, rather than needing to use a Power Manage system please? I am hoping I will be able to access my panel by using the IP Address of the system.
