Does this Smoke sensor (Menvier M12) come complete ie with the back plate?

Yes the M12 does come with a base.  It is also adjustable to do smoke, optical and fixed heat and rate of rise,

The M12 comes with a base and is 12volts, so only for the Intruder panels, but it's a differant matter with the 24volt smokes, they have choices of bases, so are all sold separately,
