I want to use the Visonic Discovery Quad wiireless detector to protect a garden shed approx 25 meters away from the panel. do you happen to know if this particular wireless item is relaible or would you advise using hardwired ?

Does your panel accept both hard wired and wireless detectors?? There are a few that do. If it does not you will need to hard wire to a detector

you can use this but in a shed i would recommend a dualtec. The only wireless dt i know of is the honeywell unit, but obviously this will only function on honeywell wireless panels.
