does anybody no the best wireless intruder alarm system out there

hi, I am interested in purchasing a number of wireless intruder alarms. i was looking at some systems on your web page but i am unsure as to which best suits my needs. i wish to install wireless intruder alarms in 6 domestic houses. these systems do not need to be monitored by telephone line. i am looken for: 6 wirefree security alarm panels (no less than 30 zone) 6 wirefree external sounders 5 wirefree remote keypads 107 wirefree magnetic contacts can you let me know what kind of system would best suit my needs and a quotation for the overall cost. i am living in the west of ireland. will this effect delivery costs? if so can you include this in the q…

TICKET QUESTION Hi, I am an electrician and am looking for a wireless alarm system to install for a customer. Like the look of the Risco kit but sold out. I need one keypad, a fob, door magnet, and 3 PIR's plus external sounder. Is it practical to build the kit up from bits or do you suggest something else?? Budget not much more than £220. Good morning, I've bought a GalaxyFlex and a RF Portal from Honeywell which work like a charm I would like to add some Wireless shock/vibration sensor with Door Contact in my house. I've bought the "Honeywell Le Sucre Wireless Shock Sensor with Contact White" ( Model: SHKC8M ), but it's quite big. I would prefer something smaller, more discreet , like the Honeywell Wireless Door/window compact magnetic contact Brown ( Model: DO800M2 ), but with the shock sensor feature Could you advise me another product (shock + contact) which would be compatible with the GalaxyFlex ? Hi The receiver panel is a RFX08 and a 9751 control unit. The client has a 722 fob that will activate the panic alarm. However they have requested something like a one button alarm that can be attached to a wrist band/necklace for an elderly persons use around the home. Thanks PeterG

HI again Following on from another question i would also like to know how to wire more than 1 sensor on a circuit. Whenever in the past i have done this, when testing the system it has failed to activate. I assume this can be done as some systems have more than 8 detectors. Chris

I have a need to add 2 (ideally 3) door contacts onto a single zone on a texecom premier 48. I have tried putting resistors in each device but this wont work. I have looked in the manual and its not very detailed. It it possible or do i need to buy an expander such as the 8xe? Thanks Eddie

Hi, first post Can anybody tell me the recommended way of wiring a Texecom Premier48 and PSU200XP combination to the mains supply? Would each panel require its own fused spur? I will not be undertaking this work myself, but would like to have some knowledge of what is required before approaching an electrician. Thanks in advance.

Hi all, I have recently purchased a scantronic 9651 control panel from this site Iv'e also purchased honey-well pet friendly PIR's. I've managed to work out how to wire the bell-box and 9941 key pads but can some one help me with an idiots guide to wiring the PIR's and front door magnet. because I'm having trouble with the tamper wiring (do I need to use all 6 cables for the PIR and only 2 for the door magnet? Hi I have been installing alarms for some time now but have never wired in the tamper circuit. I have now setup a new business installing security systems and feel i should now wire in this glabal tamper. I have in the past tried wiring all the sensors into the terminals but when i do this i can never generate a tamper alarm. Any guidance would be appriciated. Chris

HI I just installed a Risco WisDom panel and was wondering how to wire a Gardtec eusosec xs7 Bellbox to it. A wiring diagram would be very helpful if anyone can help. The panel comes with 2.2k resistors , the lid tamper is fine but the bell loop fault keeps coming up, and the alarm activating does not ring the external bell. Thanks

The Risco Wisdom comes in two versions. A plain LCD driven panel and an LCD & Voice driven panel, giving set, unset and alarm voice prompts. All three kit pages mention: 'Two Model: LCDversion and LCD version with voice prompts' As it doesnt specifically say on your kits im wondering which version you sell?

Dear Support, Would you know the jumper settings for a Risco Gardtec 595 / 800 Series Zone Expander card? There is a bank of 8 called ZEX1 through to ZEX8, J9 (ZEX Type) and J10 (ZEX Group). Are these in a manual somewhere as I can't find them in the 595 manual I have. Grateful if you can help.. Many thanks. Roy.

Attached is a wiring diagram for 'Double Pole', 'EOL' and using a Risco Guardtec CPX 'Zone Doubling' Conventional Double pole requires a pair for each part of the detection device, ie 'Alarm' and 'Tamper'. Wiring the Tamper Circuit as double pole will require a global tamper, this means that all devices with tamper protection are wired in series into the tamper connections of the control panel. Zone wiring is then wired normally straight into the relevant zone connection. This has the advantage of being simpler to understand, but has the disadvantage of a global tamper, ie being able to identify the device in tamper is impossible. Lower end panels only offer Double Po…
