Plus you need to consider recharge time and battery recharge load. Its never best practice to load a panel or power supply up to its maximum. What is the difference between the Texecom Veritas R8+ and the Veritas Excel??? According to the comparison chart there doesnt seem to be a difference in hardware? Is there a difference in software? If so what are these differences? Once again securitywarehouse* are the CHEAPEST by 68p with their competitors triton direct! Id use securitywarehouse though as you have good service!

hi i bought a dsc power832 alarm off of ebay about 3 years ago and have just got around to fitting it and realised that the installer code i was given is wrong. it's badged as british gas and apparently they had them made with there own defualt engineer codes. anyway i want to use as much of this old alarm as possible before i scrap it and so i was going to buy the ADE Accenta Mini Gen4 with LCD Keypad that you have for sale. my question is will the dsc pir's work with this ok? I see there are several versions of the ethernet module floating about for the Honeywell panels. I have a Flex FX020 panel and the product code I can see inside the panel is C003-M-E2 v1.15 I simply want to use the GX app on my Android phone to be able to set, unset and reset the alarm remotely and also be able to enter the Engineer menus (I hold the engineer code as well as one of the user codes) IN a related question am I right in thinking that the wired RIO when used on a FX 020 has to use code 2 on the RS485 bus, my 1st and 2nd keypads currently use code 0 and 1 respectively. I'm new to this forum and although I tried to read several posts I'm not sure if I came across this topic. I'm thinking of buying the G2-44 for domestic use. On deciding which wired Motion Detectors to choose I'd like your opinion on which brand: Would you advise to stick with Honeywell products (such as the DT 7550A) or would other products such as Rokonet iWise DT15, Pyronix FPKX15DT3, Bosch TriTech, etc will do a better job and fit better with the system? There is not 1 intruder alarm sensor that can be used in all environments. For example a PIR cannot be used in rooms with fast acting heat sources. Whilst a Dualtec cant be used in close range to glass. We are building a garage at present and want to use a wired alarm (we normally use the Pyronix euro mini) but we also want a remote wireless key fob that uses the 433mhz frequency so that we can add this new alarm onto the existing key fob that controls the auto gates, outside lights and the garage door. Hi, Will a Robot vacuum cleaner trigger the alarm? I'm thinking about buying a robot vacuum cleaner but I'm worried that the vacuum cleaner will set off the alarm system. What can I do to avoid false alarms. Is it best to buy pet tolerant movement detectors with dual technology or is it enough with PIR? Been looking at the infinite prime alarm, and the visonic powermax kit. Hi I am a newbie here, I had an older alarm panel and as the PIR's were rubbish I replaced all the PIR's with new Bosch ones, but the control panel tamper sensors have had it so now I need a new control panel. I would really like to fit a door contact or virbration sensor to the rear patio doors but it would be a real pain to get a cable to it. Are there any wireless panels that could accept wired and wireless sensors? I am happy with all the other sensors I have so I don't want to install a complete wireless system.
