Intruder Alarms

I have a Visonic Powermax Wireless Alarm system installed. After changing the batteries on some of the PIR sensors, the system keep calling me at random saying "tamper alarm". Can somebody please advise how to clear all of the error messages so the system stops calling me.

I have a optima G3 panel which is faulty and am looking to replace. In order to simplify replacement would the circuit board from the G4 fit in place of the existing board? (fixings in both panels look to be the same)

Please can anyone help with the following re. Intruder Alarm system Scantronic 9800+. (9827) In brief, there is a code showing as bF which I understand through d/loading the User manual means: battery fault on the control panel. The alarm has been going off several times a day for nearly a week and I disconnected the ringer several days ago but am too worried to open up the control panel in case it then goes off again and I can't press the code to stop the noise once the faccia is removed. Hi Have installed this Powermax plus quick fit , all is working but it comes up with a trouble fault of Tamper open on Zone 30. This Zone is not used and the resistors are crossing the Z29 GND and Z30GND , could you advise how to resolve this? The panel is arming

I had scantronic 9800 alarm system installed 20 years ago, working fine, my key pad box cover is broken which covers all the key pad, there is Scantronic 9827 key pad only which is on your website it says it is now obsolete, will this key pad is same as my 9800 key pad with the cover and work same as old key pad? If it is I would like to order ASAP.

I ordered a Scantronic I-ON 40 from yourselves and I would like to protect my integral garage. Can you let me know whether an additional Scantronic EXCELR 12m Wireless PIR (XCELR) would suffice? Or should I consider an alternative trigger for the garage? Also, can you let me know which remote keyfobs work with the I-ON 40? I ordered a Scantronic I-FB01 Remote set/unset Keyring Fob (I-FB01) as part of my original order which does not appear to be compatible

I've purchased a replacement LCD keypad for my Accente G4 Mini as the old keypad has a faulty button. I installed the system myself a few years ago so have no issue with the physical wiring etc. I'm just wondering if I will need to re programme the whole system once I change the keypad or are the settings saved in the main panel? I'm just trying to work out if its a 10 minute job or if it will take longer as I will need to re programme the system.

Can anyone tell me why & what the flashing light on my control panel means when it reads "RF problem"? thank you any info would be appreciated. My system is a wireless Scantronic 500r.

My problem is an Optima Compact giving spurious tamper alarms on the control panel. These are totally random and alerting the internal sounder not the outside alarm box when in day mode. The strobe flashes when this event occurs but as I say no alarm. When the system is set the alarm box works normally. On a suggestion I have changed the alarm panel battery . Spurious alarms from the panel seemed cured for 10 days but now have returned . Any possible answer to the issue appreciated.

I successfully installed my SPC4320 with IR sensor and Elmdene ELM300 internal sounder. This configuration works properly today. Hi i am after replacing an old alarm in my house, it currently has 5 pir's that are all wired, Door switches have been taken off when new doors fitted Think i need a hybrid system but would also like GSM control and internet if possible to access events it also needs to be able to connect to a Elmdene rapier 6000 sounder would like to add 4 wireless door contacts too preferably 2 way radio type. and 1 dual tec pir for the garage. seperate keypad with proximity fob or remote fob would be handy. last thing self fitting so nothing that is gonna take a degree to fit. what do you suggest and have you got it in stock.

Risco Gardtec KITCP8LG2 I've a problem with one of the central units. It isn’t possible to set the number of times the bell is capable of sounding during a set period. If the system is triggered, the bell sounds always, even the third, fourth, … time when the number of bell re-arms is set to two. I’ve already disconnected all the connections and made a factory reset, but it isn’t making a solution. Please can you help me?

hi there i have an old karizma plus id system that i would like to replace with out replacing the original detectors and id biscuits i have been told that the texecom premier systems will work with the old id biscuits. Please can you tell me if that is correct and what i would need to purchase for it to work?

Hi i had a scantronic 550r wireless alarm system fitted 18 months ago,great but it has gone off 15 times since then and every time it flashs rf trouble ,today it has been flashing all day .i am now to frighted to set the system , please help

Does this panel support EOL sensing?

I have a twenty years old DA Systems Abacus 6P control panel. Each of the six zones is split with two PIR's on each zone. The existing PIR's are believed to be by Comet (but could be Stella or Apollo)and each has an integrated zone spliter so enabling three wire connection(12v+ 0v and tamper). Can you supply a replacement for the PIR's.

I was wondering whether you have a substitute for the FMX-DT-X8? This item is to replace an existing bottom entry Optrex PIR, and I am worried about the length of the wires that the requirements are (1) bottom cable entry (2) wire joiner preferably at bottom on unit (3) 7 wires, including the LED latch wire (4) medium sized room about 3.5 metres square. Would have a such a substitute PIR?
