The 6 stand-by batteries in the main panel are not being trickle charged. Replacing them with fully charged new ones (1.37V) gets the system working correctly in all respects but only for approx 3 hours. The cells are then down to 1.2V off-load. I'm having some problems in getting the CQR SC517 to work with the Premier Elite 48 panel. 5 contacts work as intended and they are setup the way that I cut T1,T2 and the red wires giving the correct restiance towards the Texecom (Double Pole / EOL), in Wintex they work perfectly. 10 contacts do not work, gap is the same between the contact and the magnet 6-10 mm. The do not work, same resistors are cut. In Wintex they report tamper alarm. Any ideeas ?

Can anyone offer advice on programming the advanced modes of this dialer? I want to enable the option that modifies the dial out sequence such that each of the 4 numbers are dialled once in turn (default mode is for No.1 to be dialled 15 times before moving to No.2) The operation/introduction section of the manual suggests that this option is available, however I can't find the appropriate advanced programming mode/code for this option. I'm unsure what make/model existing panel is, but what I'd like is new panel to do is: - allow remote access to arm,/disarm and check alarm status (web/app/gsm) - connect existing wird PIR and bell (if possible) - have ability to set different zones. I have a texecom premier which has alarmed but I cannot re set it as it looks like it may need an engineers code. Is there some way of re booting it to put it back to factory default codes. If not, rather than call out the alarm company is it possible to just replace the control panel. Do I need to replace the local lcd keypad as well. If I disconnect the control panel to replace it will the external siren go off? Regards

Hi I have installed a Visonic Powermaster 30 and an LCD keypad KP250 I read in some KP-250 documents a reference to "Input Voltage (V DC) - 12" under "Power Description" section. The electronics board in fact shows "DC IN" next to a 2 pin JST H2 connector. I was wondering if: the lcd keypad can in fact be powered up from an external power source? if affirmative, what is the connector pinout (positive and negative pins)? and voltage to apply is the stated 12v? thanks in advance r.
