Hello! I have bought a nice second hand DSC wired panel (PC1864) and is looking for some detectors. I am among other things considering the https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/rokonet-shocktec-with-magnet-white-p-620.html As I understand it this unit does not require any external analyzer card or anything and should work as any stand alone wired detector with my DSC right? I am thinking on using it for the doors on my house - do the main part of the detector in this case need to be mounted on the door itself or will it detect vibrations from break ins even if mounted on the frame? Do this unit have space internally to mount resistor? Do you have some install…

I would like to know if you can help me specify a new system based on the Galaxy Dimension. I need it to be able to control 4 doors using mag locks / press to release. Video door entry integration and also intruder function. Proxy tag / swipe for enable/diable of the building alarm. I think I need a Galaxy Dimension GD-48 but need help with the other parts. You seem to be the best value and I need to make a purchase by next week at the latest.

My system is showing a fault "Telecommand Batt Low" which refers to the 723r Telecmmand remote setting device. I have changed the batteries in the 3 telecommand devices I have however the system continues to show the error. I have moved the system into Engineer mode and it will not now exit. Going through the command set to exit Engineer Mode ie 99 tick, the systems goes through the "checking system bus" bit ok and after agreeing to "exit eng" the unit starts the "Checking System" routine and then flags up the "Telecommand Batt Low" problem again and will exit the Engineer Mode. How do I get out of this, as I say I have put new batteries in the remotes but this does not …

I have just purchased the rs232 remote programmer but it is saying that I need to enter installer mode to access this. The main reason I bought the pack was because I could not get the installer option on the menu and I have forgotted the installer code. I have already tried a master reset but to no avail. Please could you advise if you are able to assist.

Hi I need to replace my current wired alarm system.. I have a mains wired alarm with wired connections. I have a couple of PIR's that are wired, which I see no reason to replace as the cables are hidden. I would like to add additional pirs wireless. I can see execom Kit 3 32 Zone Self-Contained Wireless Kit which looks like it can take 4 wired zones. So I could install this on my current set-up and add wirless pir's to additional rooms. I have a couple of questions. How is the alarm disabled. Is it on the control panel? I see it comes with 2xPremier Elite SmartKey. What exactly is this? Good morning, I am after some advice if I may please. I have a Galaxy Flex100 panel and we want to link up TWO touch centres to it. I believe on a standard panel we can only use one touchcentre. Is there any expansion modules or similar we can use so that both Touch Centres can be used on the system? Any advice greatly appreciated. Many thanks Neil Fearnley

I’m currently considering renewing my current wired alarm system (9450) and increasing the zones to at least eight, as offered in the Secware ADE LCD Accenta 3x Optex Saver PIR starter kit. The 6 stand-by batteries in the main panel are not being trickle charged. Replacing them with fully charged new ones (1.37V) gets the system working correctly in all respects but only for approx 3 hours. The cells are then down to 1.2V off-load. Normally fit ADE Honeywell control panel with LCD remote keypad. New Customer Installation. Customer wants to be able to set alarm with a proximity key. What would you recommend.

I'm having some problems in getting the CQR SC517 to work with the Premier Elite 48 panel. 5 contacts work as intended and they are setup the way that I cut T1,T2 and the red wires giving the correct restiance towards the Texecom (Double Pole / EOL), in Wintex they work perfectly. 10 contacts do not work, gap is the same between the contact and the magnet 6-10 mm. The do not work, same resistors are cut. In Wintex they report tamper alarm. Any ideeas ?

Can anyone offer advice on programming the advanced modes of this dialer? I want to enable the option that modifies the dial out sequence such that each of the 4 numbers are dialled once in turn (default mode is for No.1 to be dialled 15 times before moving to No.2) The operation/introduction section of the manual suggests that this option is available, however I can't find the appropriate advanced programming mode/code for this option. I'm unsure what make/model existing panel is, but what I'd like is new panel to do is: - allow remote access to arm,/disarm and check alarm status (web/app/gsm) - connect existing wird PIR and bell (if possible) - have ability to set different zones. I have just moved into a new house that is installed with a scantronic 500+r alarm. I want to turn down the volume on the internal alarm that goes off when you set the alarm, how can I do this?

We currently use the above keyfob to disarm our alarm system. How do you pair the new fobs to the system?
