Hi, I was looking at something like the Scantronic 9651 to replace my faulty C&K Securitech 700L control unit. However I was wondering if there is something I could get that would replace my control unit and use my existing hard-wired PIRs, door contacts etc., but adds 'smart' functions like alerts to smartphone when the alarm goes off, remote unsetting to let a neighbor in etc.? Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi, Can I use the Optex PIRs with the GJD Digizone lighting controller? I want to use Outdoor PIRs that are not triggered by small animals. Thanks, Martin

I also need a manual on how to program GJD wireless PIR's to the reciever. I bought them from you a while ago but the receiver has lost it programming.

I am having difficulty making the low temperature output on my SD3 dialler work correctly. I would like the dialler to send me a text message when temperature drops below the alarm threshold. However, despite the "test outputs" suggesting all is functioning OK the unit does not seem to be triggering the alarm properly. I have it configured as follows: Output 3 is set to Temperature Low/ Negative Polarity Output 3 has single wire to Trigger C Triggers are set to (default) negative polarity Trigger C Alarm is routed to Contact 1 In Test Options switching on Output 3 gives correct "Trig C Alarm" in System Log In Test Options testing Trigger C correctly sends m…

I have a customer who is after adding a wireless keypad onto a Texacom Premier 24 (wired) system. I was under the impression that this was not possible without replacing the panel and all accessories (PIRs, Contacts etc) completely. Could you please advise me if there is a product whereby I can add a wireless keypad to this system

I am not interested in wireless detectors, could you please also advise which smoke detector, door magnet and RF portal card is required? Doesn't have to be Honeywell.

Hello, I have a wired fire and intruder alarm system, with the main hub in my house. The sensors are in a recording studio at the end of my garden. The fire/smoke sensor, above my recording desk is inaccessible and has failed. As the wires are inaccessible, I want to replace it with a wireless option. What do you suggest?

We have recently moved in to a house fitted with a Scantronic 9448 alarm system. We believe we need to replace the PIR detectors to pet tolerant ones (as we have two house cats) and I wanted to check before I go ahead and purchase them that the 430 PIR will be compatible with the existing system?

I have recently changed a Optima compact Gen 4 panel as a favour for someone. The first panel that was bought through Amazon had a fault on it. A second unit has since been fitted and all is working except the new Siren which is a Reson 8. The unit comes with pre-fitted links across TA TAMP and PA. The manual states that these should be in place when powering the unit up. This contradicts some advice on online instruction that says to remove the link to T A when wiring the siren. Hello, I am planning on getting a new intruder alamr panel. My accenta g4 is not as reliable as you may think. With the dan thing making a buzzing noise thru the speakers, display going funny, LEDs flickering and as many other faults you could think of! I am planning on buying a scantronic 9448 control panel (the control box with 1 RKP). I have 5 current intruder ones (1 panic), 1 fire and one spare. Is it possible to have a fire alarm zone on this unit? And once I fit it, will I need an engineer code? Im presuming it starts with 7 and ends in 0. I recently purchased a Scantronic 9651 alarm control unit from Security Warehouse; I installed the unit but when I initialised it, it came up with \'Zone Flt\' on all 8 zones; this error is not included in the insstallation manual. I need to speak with someone to establish if the unit is faulty.

I have an Accenta Mini 8 G3 alarm system. I need a new key pad. The original one 8EP219 I am told is out of date and been replaced with 8EP416. Can I change the keypad to the new one with no problems or is there likely to be compatability issues?

I have installed the gen4 alarm and then have just bought a extra keypad to add on to the system. I had a led keypad which I have know used up stairs,and the new keypad is a LCD which is down stairs. do you have to stick to just led keypads or can you mix led with LCD. when I wired it in it blew the fuse on the board and the battery fuse blew,I replaced the fusees and the transformer got rely warm,also came up with tamper fault lockout on keypad.I then disconnected the led keypad,and left the new LCD keypad connected to the system.the system now has no power to it,but still works on the battery power.have checked the wiring several times through the process but cant ex…

I have been recalculating and it seems that the Galaxy G2 wireless starter is is a very good deal. The kit is about the price of the sensors and the keyprox. which means I would get the panel + RF portal for free. Am I missing something here? If I want a Dimension 48 wireles started kit it seems I would better buy the wireless G2 kit + a separate GD 48 panel. Also if you cam me me a better deal for a GD 48 + MK7keyprox + 3wireless PIR + 6 wireless door contacts + 4 prox's + 2way switch I would like to hear that too. PS. Can I dial/log in remotely (PSTN/Ethernet) with the dimension?
