  1. Started by Secware,

I am interested in a small home alarm with following function: Hybrid base unit with backup battery and communicator that can send alarm to my cellphone trough GSM mobile phone network, working in Sweden. Remote keypad Tag to set or disarm the alarm I have looked at Honeywell flex and ionEX and Microtech Galaxy 2-44 Comms C/W Keypad but I do not understand if GSM are integrated or if I have to buy it separately?

  2. Hi There! Possibly a stupid question but can you tell me if the Honeywell Galaxy Dimension GD-48C with Touchsceen Keypad Kit you list on the site includes the PSU. If not, can you recommend a suitable unit? Many thanks, Grant

Hello, The LEDs have stopped working on my Novagard 6 bell box, the siren is working fine though. The user guide talks about spare led holders but not sure if the bell came with spare LEDs in these holders. Can I buy spare LEDS? Tried google and did not find anything related yet. I am not sure if there would be spare in the bell box so thinking of buying them before I climb up the ladder and open the bell box. Any help advise would be high appreciated. Thanks

  11. I am looking to replace my current alarm system with a new modern system. One of my main requirements is to allow remote access to the system, and so I am looking at the Scantronic i-on 40. Although all of my sensors are wired the wireless capability will be handy if I have to upgrade in the future. I also require SMS messaging through GSM and PSTN so would be looking to also install these modules as well as one extra wireless keypad. My main concern at the moment is how the wired sensors and PIRs are connected to the i-on 40 system to ensure it will work with my current installation. Can you provide any information as to how the zones are wired on the system, or are …

  14. The unit we received is a EE1215W Universal transmitter. We need to look at getting a receiver for it. The switch we have generates a wireless signal that has to go back to something to then make the actual switch. All we have is the transmitter. I would need to install a receiver into our product in order to make it switch on and off

  17. Started by darrindaly,

Hi, I had a CP8L alarm previously installed in my house. The control panel became faulty so I decided to replace it with a more adaptable CPX control panel. I had read that the RKPs for the CP8L were compatible wth the CPX control panel. However, when I connect up one of the RKPs to the new CPX control panel it simply shows a back light and nothing else. The RKPs were working fine with the CP8L and I have connected both of them directly to the CPX with a short cable (with nothing else connected and with all devices connected), to no avail. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Darrn

  20. Started by Dutser,

I'm looking to buy an additional keypad for my current Accenta 8. The current RKP is the 8EP219 which is now obsolete. Does anyone know whether the 8EP416 will work with this. The Smartset will work using PTS but I'd like a Keypad. Looking at the 8EP416 it looks to only be compatible with the G3 and G4, as too does the new LCD keypad. Any help appreciated. Thanks

  21. Hi I purchased a security panel, Texecom Premier DC8 + a few years ago from yourselves and I am only just fitting it but have mislaid the remote key pad and installation instructions. Can you advise which remote keypads you sell that will fit this panel as I note it is not for sale any more. Also, do you have the installation instructions available? Thanks

  22. Started by Secware,

I am after a vibration sensor to fit to my roller shutter garage door to detect attempted forcing of the door. Do you have any products that detect vibration to the door itself rather than the frame: concerned that a frame mounted sensor may not be sensitive enough. Standard wired honeywell Optima alarm panel.
