The unit we received is a EE1215W Universal transmitter. We need to look at getting a receiver for it. The switch we have generates a wireless signal that has to go back to something to then make the actual switch. All we have is the transmitter. I would need to install a receiver into our product in order to make it switch on and off

Hi, i bought a powermax plus alarm, and have just attached the external sounder to complete the system (risco novagard6), however, upon arming and disarming using the keyfob, the external sounder sounds for 1 second. this doesnt happen if i use the keypad on the pm+ though. Please could you point me in the right direction.

Model ABC-0001 Can thsi be used outside under cover ,does it come with adjustable mounting bracket for outside mount.

Hi, I had a CP8L alarm previously installed in my house. The control panel became faulty so I decided to replace it with a more adaptable CPX control panel. I had read that the RKPs for the CP8L were compatible wth the CPX control panel. However, when I connect up one of the RKPs to the new CPX control panel it simply shows a back light and nothing else. The RKPs were working fine with the CP8L and I have connected both of them directly to the CPX with a short cable (with nothing else connected and with all devices connected), to no avail. I'm looking at the Honeywell galaxy flex system with the KO7 KP and ethernet interface, so we can use the Galaxy app to moniter. I'm looking to buy an additional keypad for my current Accenta 8. The current RKP is the 8EP219 which is now obsolete. Does anyone know whether the 8EP416 will work with this. The Smartset will work using PTS but I'd like a Keypad. Looking at the 8EP416 it looks to only be compatible with the G3 and G4, as too does the new LCD keypad. Any help appreciated. Thanks

Hi I purchased a security panel, Texecom Premier DC8 + a few years ago from yourselves and I am only just fitting it but have mislaid the remote key pad and installation instructions. Can you advise which remote keypads you sell that will fit this panel as I note it is not for sale any more. Also, do you have the installation instructions available? Thanks

I am after a vibration sensor to fit to my roller shutter garage door to detect attempted forcing of the door. Do you have any products that detect vibration to the door itself rather than the frame: concerned that a frame mounted sensor may not be sensitive enough. Standard wired honeywell Optima alarm panel.

Risco beams 72 series (7225,7250 and 7275). The data sheet tells me what the tamper output is but not the alarm output ie if it a changeover relay, contact closure in alarm condition etc.

What is the difference between Texecom Premier TD-W and GJD D-Tect X wireless? Are they both intended to perform the same job? Is there any drawback for Texecom product compared to the GJD one? How can i choose between these two?

Hi I am interested in purchasing the Scantronic Homelink 55 system for use at my private residence - this will allow me to upgrade my existing system and utilise the alarm cabling with the added ability to install future wireless devices without the need to install any further cables. My query is this - when installing the alarm can all of the programming functionality be achieved by the use of the keypad included in the pack - or does any specialist device or software need to be purchased? Hi all... I am a sparky with a builder that would like an additional keypad adding to his Gardtec 591. The current keypad is a Contour with ACE - I assume this is a keyfob system. He only has one code, and the system was under contract with an alarm company by the previous owner, so... 1. Is his code likely to allow the integration of another keypad? 2. As he doesn't have any keyfobs (ACE) does he need another ACE compatible keypad - if not what pad would do? 3. Does the 591 allow factory resets? 4. Is a new system the better option? hi i have a job for an alarm system in a barn with no heating and damp/sub zero temps. the barn has two doors one sliding and one side entrance/fire ext. it has mains electric for power supply. also want a gsm dialer for the system. i cannot find a system that will be ok with the damp conditions. please advise, kind regards

Hi, I was looking at something like the Scantronic 9651 to replace my faulty C&K Securitech 700L control unit. However I was wondering if there is something I could get that would replace my control unit and use my existing hard-wired PIRs, door contacts etc., but adds 'smart' functions like alerts to smartphone when the alarm goes off, remote unsetting to let a neighbor in etc.? I am having difficulty making the low temperature output on my SD3 dialler work correctly. I would like the dialler to send me a text message when temperature drops below the alarm threshold. However, despite the "test outputs" suggesting all is functioning OK the unit does not seem to be triggering the alarm properly. I have a customer who is after adding a wireless keypad onto a Texacom Premier 24 (wired) system. I was under the impression that this was not possible without replacing the panel and all accessories (PIRs, Contacts etc) completely.
