I am ready to order CPX control panel and dual tech detectors but not sure which backup battery I need to order which will fit into this panel?

 

can someone please give me a make/model or a link to the battery which I can order? do I need a 4 core cable or a 6 core cable?

 

has anyone got installation manual for CPX?

Hi,

 

The CPX panel will take a 12V 7amp battery (Enersys or Yuasa) and you are best to go with 6 core cable for your dual techs, also the CPX comes with all the manuals you need, so you will be ready to go when you receive your product.

No you don't need to buy the connectors they are with the panel, and the battery connectors are universal for all panels

Again the choice is yours all speakers and sounders tend to be universal with most panels, CQR, Pyronix or Secware all work as well as one another, it just depends on which one you choose.

I do have a old external sounder but i am thinking of replacing it anyway with a novagard 6 siren, does this siren comes with inbuilt battery backup? I am assuming you have to buy a cover with it.

 

my old sounder is cable connected with a 4 core cable, will I need to run a 6 core cable or will the existing 4 core cable do the job?

All the external sounders come with battery back but you will need to run a 6 core cable for it, and as you said you will need to order a cover for the live back plate
