Intruder Alarms

I have just orderd a ADE Optima gen4 8 zone from you. It will replace a c&k Active 5. I have the Engineers code for engineering mode. The problem is I can not stop the bell box from sounding when I disconect the bell wiring or when I try to open the bell box. The bell box was fitted and suppled by Abacus and is about 3 years old. I hope you can advise . Kind regards

hi there can you please help asap i have got a pyronix bell box off you and a veritas alarm system i have installed it for my costumer and every thing works except when the alarm goes off the bell box does not the strobe works and when you take off the front of the bell box it stets off the alarm and works it self .

I have an old ADE Ultimate (using id biscuit) Burglar alarm system. Purchased in 1993. The remote keypads are playing up. Do you have replacement remote keypads for this system or can you suggest compatible remote keypads for this system? Thanks.

Please can you clarify whether it is possible to have the Receiver and the Transmitter running on/from different power supplies. We have asituation where the alarm power supply cannot be supplied to the transmitter but can be to the receiver, so in theory it will function. If it is possible, do you have such a power supply - we assume a plug in transformer will do.

Tate T-B600 external sounder does not seem to be available anymore. Please advise on suitable replacement external sounder box for wired system to Tate "Javelin" 8 zone panel

How many keypads can I put on an I-on 50 if I am using 50 zones

I purchased an ade Optima Compact alarm system which I have fitted all seemed fine until I tried to alter the customer code from **** it would not accept the change but stopped the system from working. I have tried resetting the system back to factory settings as outlined in the manual but it does not work when the alarm is powered up it goes right into alarm but no LED lights show (not even the battery power)and the code **** does not rest/stop the alarm.

I ALREADY HAVE A VERITAS 8C SECURITY PANEL FITTED AND EVERYTHING WORKS FINE APART FROM THE BUTTONS. THE NUMBERS HAVE ALMOST RUBBED OFF AND SOME BUTTONS ARE NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY WHEN BEING PRESSED. MY QUESTION IS ...IF I PURCHASE A NEW VERITAS 8C PANEL FROM YOU CAN I USE THE FRONT PART OF THE NEW PANEL TOGETHER WITH THE BUTTONS TO REPLACE THE OLD FRONT.

I am unable to enrol the KP-141 PG2(June2013) to the Power Master 30 alarm system(Nov2012): - Full enrolment procedure: I select the * key on the keypad until the LED turns on and then release the * key. The Power Master 30 alarm system (i.e. Add New Device -> Enrol Now) indicates on its display, "Incompatible Device". - Pre-enrolment procedure: I enter the Id of the device into the Power Master 30 alarm system and it is accepted (i.e. Add New Device -> Enter Id). However, the Power Master 30 alarm system indicates that the keypad cannot be networked.

Hi iv recently bought a 4 zone shock anylser from you and iv found the varible resistor to adjust each zone but how do you adjust the pulse count.

The Texecom Premier 88 Control Panel (Part No: DBD-0121) contains the User Guide and Master User Guide booklets but not the Installation Guide. Is this available on your site and can you provide me a link to it?

I want to install a Texecom intruder alarm system into an apartment to replace a very basic RISCO panel. This has four wired RISCO PIR detectors and single entrance door with contact switch. It has one remote keypad My requirements are to keep the exiting PIRs and contact switch. Replace the keypad and have an auto dialler connected to analogue telephone. However I would like the option to send additional details alerts (stating what activated the alarm) via text message or email, and have the ability to view the event log via a PC as well as program and interrogate the control panel over TCP/IP. I don't know the Texecom products very well but it looks like I would need…

Hi, I am trying to source an alarm that allows me to extract information about the state of window/ door and occupancy sensors. And I would also like set the alarm remotely if possible. I would like it to operate via one of the following Protocols: Modbus Mbus Bacnet I know that Honeywell offers an IP gateway, however the system doesn't output this information as standard. So this isn't suitable. However, another alarm system that uses a more open IP interface could work, although one of the above protcols would be better as I'm integrating it with a Priva BMS system. If anyone could offer any suggestions, that would be much appreciated. Fraser

Hi all - first post here. Does anyone know if the Scantronic CS 430 pet immune PIR is the same as the Visonic K9-85? Wanted to buy the Visonic K9-85 on Security Warehouse but can't see it in the listings but the Scantronic is. Looks the same. As does the K9-80 with the Scantronic CS 440. I seem to remember that Scantronic and Menvier merged into one effectively but something tells me that Visonic are also with these guys too? Never ever had a problem with the K9-85's. Thanks.

I have a speech-box with my powermax pro. No problem. But I just want to hear the internal speech-box speaker. Not the control-panel speaker that I don't want to hear. How to have only the speech-box sound ?

I plan to buy an Optima Gen 4 security panel and would like to know what size battery/part number this unit takes so that I can order this at the same time.

Just reduced the volume on the keypad by pressing and holding D then typing code 2000 to get into keypad menu. Adjusted to volume 1 and the sound reduce as this was completed. Pressed A to save and exit but keypad is frozen and no button works now. I can’t reset using numbers, proximity tag, key fob or app as access is denied. Need advice as to get the alarm working again. Help please.

i'd like to fit an alarm system into my double garage but am not sure which is the right kit to fit. I've installed a Texecom into my house which i'm very happy with so ideally would like to use their kit again if possible. I'd like to keep the house and garage system completely seperate. Which hardwired detectors (PIR-movement detector, magnetic contact, siren, smoke detector and siren) are compatible with the powermax+ unit?

I am looking for an addressable Intruder Alarm System. I have already passed a 2 core power cable and 4 core looping from each PIR. Can you please guide me to find the correct system?
