Intruder Alarms

I have a powermaster30 and would like to use the special features ,"Look after People at home" as described in the manual. in Devices configuraion of my PIR i have set the "DISARM ACTIVITY - YES, No delay" but does not receive any information if i stop moving. Is there anything else i have to configure in the CP to use this feature?

I plan to buy an Optima Gen 4 security panel and would like to know what size battery/part number this unit takes so that I can order this at the same time.

i'd like to fit an alarm system into my double garage but am not sure which is the right kit to fit. I've installed a Texecom into my house which i'm very happy with so ideally would like to use their kit again if possible. I'd like to keep the house and garage system completely seperate. hi there can you please help asap i have got a pyronix bell box off you and a veritas alarm system i have installed it for my costumer and every thing works except when the alarm goes off the bell box does not the strobe works and when you take off the front of the bell box it stets off the alarm and works it self .

I am looking for an addressable Intruder Alarm System. I have already passed a 2 core power cable and 4 core looping from each PIR. Can you please guide me to find the correct system? I need to replace a PIR on my 500r+ system. I've got 515r PIR's and notice you've got 520r PIR's "compatible with 500r+" so it looks like that's a reasonable replacement. Can you confirm that it would be a viable replacement, operates on the same frequency etc.

Hi all - first post here. Does anyone know if the Scantronic CS 430 pet immune PIR is the same as the Visonic K9-85? Wanted to buy the Visonic K9-85 on Security Warehouse but can't see it in the listings but the Scantronic is. Looks the same. As does the K9-80 with the Scantronic CS 440. I seem to remember that Scantronic and Menvier merged into one effectively but something tells me that Visonic are also with these guys too? Never ever had a problem with the K9-85's. Thanks.

Which hardwired detectors (PIR-movement detector, magnetic contact, siren, smoke detector and siren) are compatible with the powermax+ unit?

Was wondering if anybody has detail for the Scantronic Plug-in footprint used by the 960? I wanted to hook this speech dialer up to an alarm that does not have the Scantronic footprint. If I could get hold of the spec for the two connectors of the 960 I could then jury rig a connector (or spade terminals) to tease out the 4 standard triggers as well as the line fail signal. I could also take care of any other inputs that need to be dealt with. Any ideas? I've done an extensive web search for detail of the footprint but have not found anything. Thanks John

I am interested in buying a Premier Elite 48 panel from you and see that it comes with 8 Zones as standard. I understand that there are expansion slots in the panel to add more zones each slot in card gives an additional 8 zones. My installation will require around 28 Zones in total, so my questions are: How many expansion slots are there in the Elite 48 Panel before having to go to an external Expansion Module? Does Texecom produce a 16 Zone internal card or only 8 Zone? If I have to use an external module, is this powered from the main panel or will I require an addition Power Supply? What configuration will I need to have 32 Zones in total which will give me some …

I have an application where the customer has a wired system and wants a sensor put on a door but doesn't want a wire running across or in the wall. Is there a wireless door contact that can tx to a receiver that interfaces to the wired system ? Regards.

Hi there I'm thinking about installing the Telecom Elite Premier 48 in our home and I'd like to use the Connect communicator module. This module requires firmware version 4 but the SW website indicates that control panel is supplied with version 3. Is this the case, or is the website out of date? If it does come with version 3 then can it be upgraded and how? Are any extra parts such as PC communicator boards required? Many thanks Guy

Hello I have a Honeywell Galaxy Dimension Alarm system, with the plastic housing RF module and a mk7 keypad fitted. I am looking to upgrade to Galaxy Flex to make use of the App, and also the mk8 keypad.
