Please could you tell me the replacement for the Scantronic 4600r wireless burglar alarm system? I'm not sure if my control box is faulty (although there is a significant chance that this is the case) or if one of the window/door vipers is faulty, but my system is 13 years old, and I think it may need to be changed.

Hi, with the Visonic Powermaster 33 if I fit the GSM module what functionality do you have through the app, or do you need to subscribe to the monitoring program to gain the app functionality. Also what type of sim is required, will it work with a G4 network or does it as with other alarms only work with the older G2 networks? Thanks

Hi I intend to upgrade my home security, the system, has a Veritas R8 panel and 8 PIR(IFSAC MQ1510)zones along with 2x RKP there have been many false alarms, due to, I think the poor PIR's, I was looking at installing up to 14 zones (2 door contacts, 8 Pir, 2 dual tech PIR,(orangery & Kitchen) 2 dual tech PIR (detached Garage)and 3 RKP. could you recommend the best control panel, RkP and PIR's I need to have the garage, armed when the house is not and also to have the 2 PIR's on the first floor omittable. Is it possible when there are any alarm activations to call a phone number. I have been looking at the Gardex 595 & GT490, and Pyronix KX PIR would these be suit…

I have just purchased a Honeywell Accenta Gen4 intruder alarm. While the installation manual is reasonably good, the wiring of the internal sounder is unclear. My old alarm had an internal siren connected in parallel with the strobe light in the external bell box. The internal siren is polarity conscious in that it must be wired up the correct way. No problem so far. I suppose I could connect it in the same was as it was fitted in the previous installation, but it doesn't seem quite right, When I look at the installation, it does not make any reference to an internal siren/sounder, but it does make reference to an extension speaker (16 ohms) that may be connected across…

Hi informa bought with accenta poly gen4 (LCD Keypad) on 23 March. Alarm installed ok. Informa wired as per instructions. Programmed phone number and recorded message. When testing, you can hear number being dialled on the infoma box and then shortly after you hear the recorded message but the programmed telephone does not ring. Tried it with different numbers and programmed the number on 1,2&3. When trying it with a mobile phone number, the mobile didn\'t ring but received a missed call from the unit about 5 minutes later (this didn\'t happen everytime we tried the mobile - nothing came through). thanks

I am interested in buying a Premier Elite 48 panel from you and see that it comes with 8 Zones as standard. I understand that there are expansion slots in the panel to add more zones each slot in card gives an additional 8 zones. My installation will require around 28 Zones in total, so my questions are: How many expansion slots are there in the Elite 48 Panel before having to go to an external Expansion Module? Does Texecom produce a 16 Zone internal card or only 8 Zone? If I have to use an external module, is this powered from the main panel or will I require an addition Power Supply? What configuration will I need to have 32 Zones in total which will give me some …

I'm fairly sure I can interface the Reson8 bell box to an old RS alarm Panel I installed many years ago. The panel has (in order) + Hold off, - Hold off, -SW, +SW, -ExB, -ST-, + IntBell, - IntBell, +Buzz, -Buzz, -Tamp(Zone1),+Tamp(Zone1) Basically I cannot see how to connect the Tamper supply- and Tamper return- in the Wiring diagram. I am sticking with the wiring colours. I know it's quite serviceable.

Hi, My G2-20 is set to EOL and all the other sensors I have purchased from you have had EOL built-in. I guess the Activ8 BG I purchased does not. Can you confirm how I should wire this to my Honeywell Galaxy G2 panel. I have two zones spare that I'd like to use for the motion and the break glass feature of the Activ8. I guess I need to wire a 1k resistor between two of the terminals but not sure which ones. Terminal 1 & 2 - Tamper T 3 & 4 - R-PIR (normally closed) T 5 - EOL T 6 & 7 - R-MIC (normally closed) T 8 - +12v T 9 - GND Many thanks.

I would like a wireless single PIR, single door, telephone dialing warning unit with small key pad for a 2rd floor two bed flat. Ideally I'd like an internal and external audible siren but would settle for either. Scantronic have been recommended. Any ideas on what to buy rom you please?

Hi I have a 3-5 year old (can't specifically remember the age) HoneywellTotal Connect 2.0 E system in place with multiple motion sensors, fobs, tags ect....and the control panel seems to have failed - it's not transmitting anymore. So we can't secure our home manually or even using the App. Am I right to assume by purchasing the following new control panel (https://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/intruder-alarm-c-36/kits-c-36_62/honeywell-suepacke-panel-with-gkps8m-keypad-and-four-tags-p-4880.html) it will effectively plug and play with all the existing peripharels (obviously after having to reset the system and reconfigure/link it all back together)? Will the new con…

Proposed Gargage Alarm System Before placing a package order I just need to confirm that the Scantronic 9651EN-43 Panel will support 2 x remote extension speakers. I note it has 3 fully programmable outputs, I need a volt free relay / contact output (N/C healthy) Open Circuit on alarm condition for remote signalling to an existing Scantronic 9752 panel located in the house (this will then represent a seperate zone alarm, just like say a PIR in alarm condition going from N/C to open circuit) - please could you advise, order ready to go.
