Just bought a Veritas panel from your good selves and am ready to fit. Aftr reading the enclosed paperwork I want to know if I need to change the dip switches (it will be the only one apart from the main panel) and do I need to configure it for 'Network devices'? If so what do I have to do?

i purchased a Scantronic 9427 Keypad andI need to know what what jumpers on the keypad to change to address it as as second keypad.. The first keypad has the links positioned so as no pins are connected together, so i assume that the second one needs two pins linking together to address it as a second keypad .. i have a Scantronic 9448+ panel...

tried to install this panel but it keeps blowing the 1.6a battery fuse (i tried 3 times but it blew each time) .I bench tested the panel using mains only and was able to successfully set up and test as per the installation instruction. The Bell, strobe PIRs and LEDs worked fine but each time i connected the battery it blew the fuse. I have checked the wiring instructions and cannot see any obvious reason for the problem.Your assistance will be greatly appreciated

Hi, Just purchased the ACT1313 PLUS Spike suppressor. Could you advise if just the RED/BLACK/EARTH wires only need to be connected or do you also need to connect extra wires from the terminal blocks to an offending circuit. Basically not sure what the terminal block is for? As you have probably gathered I am DIYer not an alarm specialist. Any advise would be grateful

The systems re-starts itself making impossible to use is as it fires the alarms every time the systems re-starts. The system installation was installed about 2 weeks ago and at the beginning, about every day, at any time (middle of the night or right in the afternoon) the systems alarm was on but with NO intruder detection as the system was NOT armed. Watching the log events, every time that it fails, shows “START UP” and “MAINS OK” and the LCD Keypad shows new date and time as when start up for first time (like default factory data). I want to install a Texecom intruder alarm system into an apartment to replace a very basic RISCO panel. This has four wired RISCO PIR detectors and single entrance door with contact switch. It has one remote keypad My requirements are to keep the exiting PIRs and contact switch. Replace the keypad and have an auto dialler connected to analogue telephone. However I would like the option to send additional details alerts (stating what activated the alarm) via text message or email, and have the ability to view the event log via a PC as well as program and interrogate the control panel over TCP/IP. Hi, I wish to intall a wireless alarm system that includes both an wireless external sounder/strobe and a wireless smoke detector. My question is which is the best, it is for a 3 bedroom house, I have had the Powermax plus before and never had any issues but there was never the choice that seems to be around now. I have a Gardtec 800 system with an 8 way zone expander unit. After a lightening storm the panel comes up with a fault: LEX1 tamper. I believe this is a line expander unit fault. You are selling a Gardtec 02083 Zone expander unit - is this the same as the line expander unit I have (label with EX MO1/11 EN50131-1 PD 6662 G3 EC2 PR5705 Rev 1.0 4390) I would appreciate your help.

Just installed accenta g4 with a keypad upstairs and one downstairs. When i power on the system i dont get any text on the display, just backlight nad the first line where text should be all dots are on. Both keypads are wired back to the panel. Has anybody seen this before?

I see two mobile com modules TEXECOM. (type 0001-jae and cegb 001) What's the difference? There is a big price difference. I recently bought a 48 premier installation TEXECOM elite with you. The intention is that the alarm via mobile redirected to mobile. Additional question: To how many mobiles he can send the message and it is only a text message or voice?

I am only using 6 zones & no PA. I have programmed zones 1-6 as used and 7 & 8 as unused. When I try the Walk Test as soon as I input '0' for the test, zones 7&8 LEDs light up and an intermittent tone sounds. Any ideas??

The Visonic Powerlink which enables internet access for Visonic Powermax alarm seems to be very difficult to get hold of! I see you have it on this website but it is out of stock. Do you know 1) When it will be in stock. 2) Can it be bought without any cameras (sold with one here) as it is quite expensive and I just want to have the internet access. I already have other cameras.

could you tell me if the system uses 12 volts as a battery backup ? i am looking to putting this system into 4 garages/lock ups where there s no mains power, but i could use 12v batterys if this system runs on 12v when no mains power avalable, also is it a 12v supply that activates the siren, thank you.

When I install it, where it is supposed to be, it goes into this tamper alarm mode and it does not help to remove and then add the device or removing the battery, keeps staying in the tamper alarm mode. Have ran out of ideas. Any suggestions on what to do about it??? It is only one contact and it enrols fine and I also suspect its something with the tamper switch, but have not figured out how to reset the switch. Thought it was enough to put back the cover but apparently there is something else that needs to be done. Could you please explain how to 'reset' the tamper switch after it has been violated?

Hi was hoping for some help with how to wire one of these on to an ade optima gen4 panel.Didn't realize when i took the old alarm down what it was and didn't take any notice of how it was wired. I have never used one before and any help would be great cheers liam

Can you tell me please if the above panel allows for a timed silent alarm in order to let an TSD1+ Speech Dialler to kick in. Can you also tell me if the above panal comes with fitting and user instructions. Thanks. Derry.
