After many months of the forum being unaccesable by our community, we are pleased to advise that IT have identified the problems and the forum is back. We will be pleased to see the community active again. Seems the spammers are back first, hopefully the security community will be back as well soon. I see the spammers like to post in this topic, but the whole forum is regularly checked and spamming is mainly maintained by good software. Nice to see the security questions and answers have now recommenced

Hi there, I am putting an Accenta gen4 alarm in a large shed and could use a little advice on it please? Is there any particular dual-tech PIR which would well in a shed and lessen false alarms? Keeping the alarm wires away from power cables will be difficult. Will I get away with running them near each other if the cable is screened? I don't see a 2.1Ah battery on the site, is there another that would be suitable for the Accenta box? Any other advice on putting an alarm in a shed would be very wecome. Thank you, Colin.

Cancelled an order with yourselves on 2nd December and asked for a refund. Support ticket #192764 created on 3rd December, but no reply. Support ticket updated order as cancelled on 5th December. Still no reply, and no refund. Five working days passsed; no reply, no money. I have not received any goods. I would like an explanation as to how long I am expected to wait before you return my money, and why no one has informed me of this in the interim.

Is it possible to getting VAT refunds from securitywarehouse ? Shipping Offshore to Norway and pay Vat at 20% is wrong ? Pay Vat in 2 countrys is wrong only in 1 country ? First pay Vat at 20% and later pay Vat in Norway at 25% in total pay 45% Vat !

Dear forum members I have a Jablotron alarm system with magnetic door contact Jablotron JA-81M that has an input for NO and NC contact. Can I integrate the Optex PIR detector in my alarm system. The Optex has an alarm output, 28V 0,1A max. What I want is; if an intruder is detected by the Optex, my alarm is triggered. If this is possible I would like to buy 2 Optex detectors. Today we have found that with the difficulties (planned work over running) that BT have experienced with their internet, that a number of customers have had difficulty with our Payment gateway. We apologise for this, but it was totally out of our control. We understand that this over running work, has now been completed, so we believe the payment gateway is now back to normal. We have a Eurosec g2 lcd keypad and all is working great , it’s in the hall and I would like to know if it would be possible to link / daisy chain another keypad directly behind it in the garage and it would all still work . Would be great to have one in there as we cycle to work and have to unlock the house go in to the hall turn off the alarm before opening the garage door .

Hoping for some advice and please note I am not an electrician I am just trying to troubleshoot a problem before calling one. I have two pairs of ax130 tn sensors operating lights in an outdoor domestic setting. My question is when I take the covers of the sensors what should I see as far as led lights are concerned. I have a sensor that has no light on it unless the beam is broken, it then turns red. The other sensors seem to have either a permanent red or green light on. Which is correct and can you suggest a way to troubleshoot the sensors to find out if I have a faulty one? Thank you in advance.
