securitywarehouse
I am interested in buying an ACT 5 proximity reader for door control and was wondering whether the fob of my scantronic 9651 with 9943 keypad would work with this. This would mean I would only have to carry the one fob to open the door and set/reset the alarm. According to page 28 of the 9651 installation manual "You can use any industry standard ISO tag or card with the 9943 keypad" so I would guess the ACT and scantronic fobs are compatible but wondered whether you could confirm this please. Secware_Tech6
Im afraid ive never tested that config. I know the scantronic fobs work on a galaxy keyprox. I also know that act fobs work on a galaxy keyprox. So it would appear that they would.... Some manaufactures lock fobs so they will only work with their readers.
