securitywarehouse Posted May 12, 2010 Share Posted May 12, 2010 Have just received a number of GJD Mini opal PIR's and in each box is a bag containing 4 plastic items. No where in the instructions does it refer to these parts as far as I can see. They do seem to fit in the hole in the back of the sensor where the tamper switch is. There are 3 similar part each with a different length. They may be to waterproof the device but it's not obvious. The fourth piece I've no idea where it's meant to go. accounts3 Posted September 13, 2010 Share Posted September 13, 2010 We have checked our stock, and the ones we have looked at have a bag with grommets in, which are used to prevent moisture getting in, the other bags contain an allen keys, screws and rawl plugs.
