[Ticket Question] New House

Recommended Posts

I am building a new house and a granny flat

The alarm will consist of wired system and external bell box aswell internal bell box.

Alarm pack with keypad and fob for the house.
- 2 keypad and fob (one for upstairs and downstairs)
- 4 pir sensors (pet friendly)
- two door sensors (front door and back door)
- one 7m rear sliding door (door sensor?)

However I have a detached garage which have a granny flat above which I aim to rent out.

The garage which will be linked with house alarm system.
1 x pir sensor
1 x door sensor
1 x roller door sensor

But I would like the granny flat to have its own zone linked with house alarm. (If that is possible) when my tenant is in flat they can only use their keypad to actives their alarm system using my alarm system. However I can turn it off from the house keypad. If you know my meaning?

1 x pir sensor
1 x door sensor
1 x keypad and fob

Is this possible to have smart (i do not wish to have wireless)

I have the setup you mention by using a Dimension panel. The panel gets configured with two groups. Each set of zones is assigned to each individual group. The users who have access to the house have their codes assigned to the house group. The users who have access to the granny flat have their codes assigned to the granny flat group.  Each works independently with the exception of sounders Etc.  The manager code has the option to set and unset each group. I find this the best mechanism rather than giving users group choice.
