I have an 11 year old scantronic 9930 fitted professionally and serviced.

I am about to purchase a replacement keypad.

However with regular power cuts here my alarm now triggers outside bell very quickly and will not go off for 15 minutes, i cannot reset.

Also the display shows better missing even though it's not and i have checked all connections which are fine, also the battery is reading 12volts on tester.

The only thing i noticed was split at bottom but, NO leaks ?? so why is it showing message and a 12volt reading on tester.

Can you advice please as i don't want to waste money on keypad and battery if it is something else.

A volt meter does not prove the battery. You need to put it under load and take the reading again. If the battery is 11 years old id be amazed if it ok. Plus its possible that it has damaged the panel. Batterys must be changed before they fail
