I would now like to add an external siren for outside of my property, however I can't believe how expensive the SEF8M is at £130 compared to other one's which can be bought for around £30~. stuart_mcg Posted March 9, 2016 Share Posted March 9, 2016 The Le Suckre system is wireless, so you're stuck with their own wireless siren I'm afraid - the wireless will have a bigger battery and RF electronics to communicate with the panel. The cheap £30 sirens are wired - wired devices are all 12V and compatible across most wired control panels - hence choice and competition drives the price down.
