Good afternoon, I purchased a Veritas system with lcd keypad. The issue I have is that the keypad is showing a tamper fault and the tamper switch does not seem to be working. I have check all of the system and everything else seems in order.

Is there an reason this would be a fault ?

Is this a keypad tamper and not a tamper in the panel etc?

Yes the keypad tamper, it  has a texecom 3x showing no fault, panel has a operation tamper switch, everything on the panel has been taken of and only 1 sensor being used. the only tamper not working is the one on the keypad.

I'd verify the switch is closing and doesnt need an adjustment. Does it clear if you push the switch manually

It is closing, I have had it of the wall and tried it manually and it makes no difference.

id say you have a faulty keypad then, let returns know ur order number etc so it can be replaced
