Secware
Hi , I'm after a bit of help , I'm looking at installing an external sounder to a powermax complete panel in out house , the eves at the top of the house so don't want to be going up ladder to often to change batteries etc . I've looked on your web page and it directs me to an expander module to allow the connection up to the siren, however looking in the panel I can see some connection for 12v , internal and external sounder already on the main panel next to the connection for the telephone line , therefore can I just use those to feed the external siren, thanks for your help with this . Secware
Now, for what you are describing, seems like you are using a PowerMax + panel. This panel has built-in all the terminals and connections to hard-wire a siren into it. If you were using a PowerMax Complete or a PowerMaster 30 panel, then you will to purchase an expander module separately.
