I recently received and installed a new videx 3011 handset, which i had ordered from yourselves. Everything on the handset seems to be working fine apart from the buzzer. Whenever someone hits the buzzer button downstairs, my handset just seems to make a faint clicking noise instead of buzzing. Is this a fault with the handset or a fault with the way i've wired it up?

Did the old phone ring, buzz or an audible tine?

It was to replace an old handset, where i suspect the microphone had stopped working in the handset. The old unit use to buzz when operated. This one sounds like it is wanting to make a noise but it just seems to click.
