On the Sterling 10 there are outputs that can be programmed as "keyswitch" that can be connected to certain external equipment that can arm and disarm. Pyronix produce a Prox SA that is a stand alone tag reader that connects to the Sterling and can be used to arm and disarm via presenting a tag:
