Secware Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 In some reason dialer installed at customer site is not working properly. Condition of test I did: 1) Dialler installed next to Master BT socket 2) Line is connected to "Line A" and "Line B" on the dialler 3) BT socket connected to "Tel A" and "Tel B" on the dialler 4) All devices disconnected from BT socket (eg Telephones, Card Payments Machines, Routers) After alarm is triggered I get the below in random order: 1) Sometimes I receive phone call from dialer and there is just silent for about 60sec 2) Sometimes is just message to press confirmation code. Without main recorded message. 3) Sometimes there is silence for about 15-20sec and than I hear My recorded message and message to press confirmation code. Than I press the code, hear the long beep sound and line disconnect. No more redials. 4) Same as above but when you press confirmation code and even that you hear long beep you still get another phone call with same message. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong or where the fault could be? If only 3) would appear than I could live with that. Quote
Secware_Tech6 Posted November 9, 2011 Posted November 9, 2011 do you have a broadband filter fitted to the dialler? ie only relevant if the line has broadband. Also is it a BT line or a NGN line. What dialler is it? Quote
