I moved into my current property and had an extension done to the building. As a result I haved added detectors (from SecurityWarehouse) to the alarm panel (Honeywell G2-12).

 

However, when the alarm engineer attempted to access the menu, the code I was given was not working. Hence the engineer is locked out of the menu

 

What is the best way to get into engineer menu and reprogramme the panel?

 

any help would be appreciated?

You have enabled Level 3 access to allow the engineer to enter his code ?

 

Menu option 48 1 - Enable L3 Access.

 

Contact me if the system is owned by you (not under a maintenance agreement) and your

engineer needs to understand how to reset the code.
