4ch h.264 dvr

i got a new dvr (4 ch h.264)  and silverline cameras, i have connected all the wires etc.. but the dvr wont display on a monitor or tv, what could be the problem?

Are you sre the bnc connections are all correctly connected?/

id confirm the video on the monitor first, ie connect one of the cameras direct.

But usually its due to a badly made off or faulty BNC connction on the video out.
