What do I do as I have received a faulty opal xl sensor my order no is 24512. I have just tried to install this sensor to an existing circuit of an emerald mk3 and 2 other opal xl sensors i installed about two month ago. I connected this sensor up to the side of the house and in the day it buzz as it should when selected, however at dusk or night it should turn the lights on. This sensor doesnt. It just buzzes day and night. Just to check the wireing I swapped this sensor with one of the existing ones and the fault went with this new sensor, so I know its faulty. Thanks Steve

Hi can anyone help me, I have installed this alarm system myself and i can set it fully,however I cant part set it. I have gone through the programs ,program 1 does everything,program 2 i have set up to just do downstairs. I have gone through the manual and done as it says, but when i set the alarm it says that once the code is typed in and the countdown begins press 'P' and the tone will stop then press the program you wish ie. 2. But for me the countdown doesnt stop, I press 'P' and 2 and it does nothing and it still says program '1' on the LCD keypad. Please help before I use a hammer on it as it is very frustrating!!!!! Please help thanks

Can someone please help Im trying to connect the AG6 external sounder to the ADE Gen 4 but on the connections manual that come with the sounder there is no ade gen4. I have connected it how I think it should go but i keep getting a tamper fault up ?? Thanks

Hi There are 3 sensors controlling all three lights on the same zone.they all come on manually but in normal operation one of them at night doesnt turn on the lights, its just makes the audible tone. so i know its picking me up but dont know why its not turning the lights on when the othe two do. thanks

Hi I have just installed an emerald mk 3 and 3 opal xl sensors on one of the zones controlling the lights. Can someone please explain why 2 of the sensors work ok and turn the lights on but the other sensor doesnt turn the lights on but it is picking the movement as I have the audible tone on aswell. Should the tone work at night aswell as turning the lights on?? Thanks

Hi A friend of mine has bought a shop with a g3 alarm panel. Nobody knows the codes to use the alarm. I have tried various engineer codes but none work. Is there a way round this or is it a new main panel job. Thanks

Hi on this camera (esp digiveiw 4 camera) system how do the cameras get there supply ? is it in the coax??? do i need a bnc crimping tool for this as well Thanks

Hi i would like to install a CCTV system with 4 cameras. 2 cameras on my house, 1 on my barn and 1 on my garage. I would like a good enough picture for face recognition day and night in case someone is snooping around. I would like them wired to the hard drive in a cupboard recording then a cable to my TV in my lounge which i can turn the channel over and see the 4 cameras. I have been looking at the ESP digiview 4 kit day and night and was wondering if this is up to the job. If not, any other recommendations. Nothing really expensive though!! Thanks Steve Forgot to mention I have a lighting system on the house with 500w floodlights but nothing on the garage or barn but can add if necessary.

Hi, I have a GJD emerald mk3 system with 3 sensors and 3 lights and I hope somebody can tell me why the lights are coming on in daylight. Nothing has been changed on the system and for about the last 3 months they have been plying about!!! The system is quite a few years old now and I was wondering if the opal sensors or the main panel should be replaced. Thanks Steve
