What do I do as I have received a faulty opal xl sensor

my order no is 24512.

I have just tried to install this sensor to an existing circuit of an emerald mk3 and 2 other opal xl sensors i installed about two month ago. I connected this sensor up to the side of the house and in the day it buzz as it should when selected, however at dusk or night it should turn the lights on. This sensor doesnt. It just buzzes day and night. Just to check the wireing I swapped this sensor with one of the existing ones and the fault went with this new sensor, so I know its faulty.
