hi i have a job for an alarm system in a barn with no heating and damp/sub zero temps. the barn has two doors one sliding and one side entrance/fire ext. it has mains electric for power supply. also want a gsm dialer for the system. i cannot find a system that will be ok with the damp conditions. please advise, kind regards

Hi, I was looking at something like the Scantronic 9651 to replace my faulty C&K Securitech 700L control unit. However I was wondering if there is something I could get that would replace my control unit and use my existing hard-wired PIRs, door contacts etc., but adds 'smart' functions like alerts to smartphone when the alarm goes off, remote unsetting to let a neighbor in etc.? Yesterday, I tried to plug the 8XE internal zone expander on my Premier 24, but it failed: the flash programming connector is longer than the expander support pillars. So it is not possible to clip the pillars. I can make photos if you need to better understand the issue. Please advise. Thanks! Hello, I resently puschased a PowerMater 10 alarm system from you and am now starting to install the equipment. There is a problem with the display on the master unit, it seems like it doesnt remove some of the characters and some texts looks really weird. For example, int the start screen it says "15:16EADY : " where i guess it should say "15:16 : READY ". If I have a fault it switches between "NOT READY TRBL" and "15:16EADY : " There are also some really strange characters for the zone naming when I try to add equipment to the system. Everything else seems to be working though, I can add equipment and arm/disarm the system. I have tried doing a "Factor…

We are a new organisation in southern Spain, a couple of elderly ex-pats who have become sick of the growing number of burglaries in the area. It is working well as we purchase kits from the internet and we are installing them and then using local labour, responding via GSM and arriving on site within 4-6 minutes. It has proved very successful in its first 3 weeks. However,we have one problem which is causing us grief and we are unable to remedy it.
