How do I change the bell time on a honywell ADE gen4 alarm panel, as Page 25 of the engineer's guide is next to useless, do i need to be in engineer mode? I would like to set the time to about five minutes.

can the texecom com 300 model cea-0001 fit into a tex-dcb-0001 panel please advise

I have an old (broken) Honeywell optima system and want to replace it with a new control panel, remote keypad, upgrade to the PIR sensors that are both microwave and I.R. and also have SMS alerts when there is an event, so I was looking at your website and saw you have a *lot* of things... just wanted to chat about what solution you could recommend. I'm new to this forum and although I tried to read several posts I'm not sure if I came across this topic. I'm thinking of buying the G2-44 for domestic use. On deciding which wired Motion Detectors to choose I'd like your opinion on which brand: Would you advise to stick with Honeywell products (such as the DT 7550A) or would other products such as Rokonet iWise DT15, Pyronix FPKX15DT3, Bosch TriTech, etc will do a better job and fit better with the system? I'm open to suggestions... Thanks!

Hi, I'm fitting a Honeywell Galaxy G2-20 at the moment (4th installation of the galaxy range) and usually would just fit a dialler however i saw the CSL Dualcom for sale on SW:- http://www.securitywarehouse.co.uk/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2438 It says that the first years monitoring is included, i'm just wondering who the ARC is, how the registration is completed and the ongoing yearly costs. Hello, we have just had an outside office built - detached from the house by 1m. We currently have an Accenta G3 hard-wired panel with three spare zones. If I purchase Texecom GEC-0002 Ricichet Expansion pack and three Ricochet PIRs, will it allow me to attach the three wireless detectors to the spare zones? Your advice would be most welcome.

Hi, Im looking for additional replacement wireless sensors (contact and vibration) for a Risco WIsdom system, RWT62 (contact) and RWT6S (shock), you dont seem to have these in stock. Are there compatible replacements? I think they also be available under the Gardtec brand.

(9827) In brief, there is a code showing as bF which I understand through d/loading the User manual means: battery fault on the control panel. The alarm has been going off several times a day for nearly a week and I disconnected the ringer several days ago but am too worried to open up the control panel in case it then goes off again and I can't press the code to stop the noise once the faccia is removed. Can you set and unset via your telephone after an activation and can it send you a text message to let you know when the alarm is set/unset? I can't find any spec online fort his product. Hi I am adding a Honeywell 12v latching base to an Accenta Mini Gen4. How do I wire the N/O N/C and C terminals on the base for a Honeywell Combination Optical/ Thermal Smoke Detector?

I have a Visonic Powermax Wireless Alarm system installed. After changing the batteries on some of the PIR sensors, the system keep calling me at random saying "tamper alarm". Can somebody please advise how to clear all of the error messages so the system stops calling me.

Hi Have installed this Powermax plus quick fit , all is working but it comes up with a trouble fault of Tamper open on Zone 30. This Zone is not used and the resistors are crossing the Z29 GND and Z30GND , could you advise how to resolve this? The panel is arming

I had scantronic 9800 alarm system installed 20 years ago, working fine, my key pad box cover is broken which covers all the key pad, there is Scantronic 9827 key pad only which is on your website it says it is now obsolete, will this key pad is same as my 9800 key pad with the cover and work same as old key pad? If it is I would like to order ASAP.

I am ready to order the subject item, model 18.980049 but need to know the following, Does the product come with the relevent sounder switch, i am wanting to run this unit for staff tea breaks so just wish to run siren to a switch then onto the 240v mains ! I've purchased a replacement LCD keypad for my Accente G4 Mini as the old keypad has a faulty button. I installed the system myself a few years ago so have no issue with the physical wiring etc. I'm just wondering if I will need to re programme the whole system once I change the keypad or are the settings saved in the main panel? I'm just trying to work out if its a 10 minute job or if it will take longer as I will need to re programme the system.

Can anyone tell me why & what the flashing light on my control panel means when it reads "RF problem"? thank you any info would be appreciated. My system is a wireless Scantronic 500r.

My problem is an Optima Compact giving spurious tamper alarms on the control panel. These are totally random and alerting the internal sounder not the outside alarm box when in day mode. The strobe flashes when this event occurs but as I say no alarm. When the system is set the alarm box works normally. On a suggestion I have changed the alarm panel battery . Spurious alarms from the panel seemed cured for 10 days but now have returned . Any possible answer to the issue appreciated.

hi there i have an old karizma plus id system that i would like to replace with out replacing the original detectors and id biscuits i have been told that the texecom premier systems will work with the old id biscuits. Please can you tell me if that is correct and what i would need to purchase for it to work?
