Intruder Alarms

I have installed, approx 9 years ago, a scantronic 500r.+ system and have had the remote control stolen during a break in. My fear is they will return. Is it possible replace the control box with a new one in order to make the remote U/S, Or is it possible to disable the remote. I have 4 PIRs one door sensor and a remote key pad. Sorry I have marked this high but having just lost a new car do not wish then to re-visit disble the alarm and clear the rest of the house. Thank you for your time.

I have programed all pir siren contacts and tcu remote but when trying to set full or part set the tcu displays operation cancelled instead of arming any ideas please

I am assembling the individual components of the Optima 4 kit minus the SAB strobe. I am substituting the Odyssey 3E, as I already have the diamond shaped cover. can these Honeywell Intellisense DT 7450 pir be used in conservatories or can you reconmend one. I am working on an alarm that has a pir in the conservatory but it keeps going off.

The main Horizon box has developed a fault and I understand these are quite old now and no longer available. I purchased a Aritech 4 zone analyser from your company to find it does not work correctly i.e you can bang on the window HARD around 20 times and the analyser will only just trigger and that is on max sensitivity. 2nd i never got instructions with the unit just wiring diagram and also your advert on your website tells you so many things that this unit will do but clearly it wont like pulse count adjustment and LED indicator. I need to replace a PIR on my 500r+ system. I've got 515r PIR's and notice you've got 520r PIR's "compatible with 500r+" so it looks like that's a reasonable replacement. Can you confirm that it would be a viable replacement, operates on the same frequency etc.

I'm tring to programme the bell time on this panel in engineering mode. When I press "6", LED's 1,2 and 3 should show but I'm getting 1,3,5 and 7 and then it won't go any further. Does anyone know what this means and why it is happening?

I have semi decieded to purchase/install an MDT alarm system and will be connecting a stand alone autodialler also I have used Texecom speech only recently but am curious if there is an easier to use alternative available? Do all autodiallers require you to record a message during installation or are there variants that come with pre recorded messages? Thanks in advance
