Hi Security Warehouse, I have been trying to re-commission my SD1+ after it being disconnected for several months. However, I cannot enter any 'user code' because buttons 1,2 and 3, (also A), do not respond when pressed. I would appreciate your help please. Regards, Chris Wills.

I have a former ADT monitored alarm and I need to purchase a few more accessories for it. It is a Visonic Powermaster 30. Somebody told me that not all the Powermaster accessories work with the ADT alarms. Is this correct or will the PIRs and contacts you sell work with the system?

If Risco equipment is no longer going to be available then could you recommend & send info on other makes that can perform the functions of Eurosec CPX & Gardtec 595 including the vo-comm speech dialling.

We currently have a Karisma Plus wired system installed. There are 9 zones. It is getting creaky, I have repaired it several times, time for a change. Our Ancient house is not good for wifi, so I want to stick with a wired system for reliability, using existing wires as these are hidden. The Karisma uses a 3 wire id device, which made wiring and set up easy. Is there an equivalent today? Or what do you recommend? Integrating fire detection / alarm would be useful.

I have a flat which is fairly secure and unlikely to be broken into. However for £200 or so it seems a good idea to fit an alarm. I ordered the above Visonic MCR-304 Receiver from you and it was quickly delivered without any sign of transit damage. Firstly my thanks for your prompt service. I installed the item in the prescribed way and powered it up. I then set the Learn jumper into the Learn mode and the yellow LED flashed as expected. I then pressed the Tamper spring and the yellow LED and the red LED both flashed OK and using the tamper key I was able to cycle through the various channels. Hi I need to purchase a wireless alarm system with proximity entry I have looked at the powermaster visonic range but need to know if the powermaster 10 panel has an internal 12 v supply outlet so I can add my already owned gsm dialer.I have seen that there are two proximity readers in the powermaster range the kp 160 and the kp 141 which is the most suitable and easiset to use and are the proximity tags an extra with these items

Panel has become unreliable and believe it is the panel not the wiring. I have 12 proximity sensors, 12 smoke detectors and 2 heat detectors. I also have 3 remote access keypads with simple LCD display. I would like to add another 6 sensors. My questions are: Should I reuse the existing wiring? (its an old house and took a great deal of effort to fit professionally). Which system would provide the most intuitive fault finding? Which system / manufacturer offers the most scope for the future? Can I reuse all the existing detectors? Would ideally like to be able to look in from a pc or iPad to see status? Any comments or suggestions gratefully received.

Hi all, I'm new to the forum, it was recommended by a member on another forum. I was wondering if anyone has a .pdf copy of a veritas r8 installation manual for the pre-1999 models please? We have 2 veritas alarm systems on our house, one was installed in 1995 when the house was built, the 2nd was installed in 2007. I have a manual for the newer system but the older system I believe has different programming codes etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Andy

The wiring diagram suggests that for multiple keypads, the wiring should be serial i.e. from alarm panel into the first keypad then onto the second. My question is can I wire each keypad back to the alarm panel independantly (in start wiring), e.g. the comms connection at the alarm panel has two wires comming from it, one to the first keypad and one to the second keypad.

Hi, I'm looking to purchase three of these detectors: Bosch Blue Line ISM-BLD1-P Pet Friendly TriTech Detector I see from your site and the spec sheet that they are manufactured in three different frequencies. If I order three, are you able to supply three different frequencies? Three different frequencies would be ideal as the location of each detector may mean that their coverage may overlap. I'm looking to place my order for these and seven other PIRs ASAP as I'm due to start installation on Friday. Many thanks in advance, Neil.

Really need some help before I loose all my hair. Trying to set up premier 24 with 4XP expander. No matter which setting I use for the Address switch I can't get the expander to register as installed, just as 1 or 2 extra keypads. Any Ideas? Thanks in advance

Hi all... I am a sparky with a builder that would like an additional keypad adding to his Gardtec 591. The current keypad is a Contour with ACE - I assume this is a keyfob system. He only has one code, and the system was under contract with an alarm company by the previous owner, so... 1. Is his code likely to allow the integration of another keypad? 2. As he doesn't have any keyfobs (ACE) does he need another ACE compatible keypad - if not what pad would do? 3. Does the 591 allow factory resets? 4. Is a new system the better option? How do you loop wire two Honeywell Intellisense IS215TCE PIRs into one zone when using a ADE Honeywell Accenta Metal Gen4 control panel?

I have purchased a Scantronic ion-40 control panel and a Pyronix Deltabell E, but I'm having a problem getting the bell to trigger. I ordered a Visonic PowerLink2 (9-101070) hoping it would be compatible with my power master 30 but it doesn't seem to be. Can it be? If not which one is to connect my master 30 to the Lan?

Hi I'm looking for a wireless intruder alarm for a one floor house. It has to include - 6 wireless PIR detectors - 1 wireless external sounder - GSM/GPRS notification capability. Right now i'm investigating the rokonet wisdom and the visonic powermax. Questions 1- Which one do you think would be the most suitable system? You can refer other systems 2- I didn't find any GSM/GPRS adaptor for the rokonet wisdom in your site. The Wisdom panel refers the capability, is it already included? Hi, is question more to the techniacl support, about advice: I was wondering abou Texecom Panel CAA*0026 I'm wondering if that panel has got a dialler function, can it call or send message in case of alarm, if not maybe this one CAB-0001 or should buy dialler CGC 0001 and integrate with panel (Do I need any digi card) Regards Mariusz
