last April it has worked perfectly. However recently, although it texts me on arming and disarming, if I try to control the system remotely ie arm, disarm, status it fails to respond. This was a relatively expensive piece of equipment and although just over one year old, I would have expected it to have lasted longer than this. It is operating with a Premier 24 panel (although only partially now!)

Hi there, I'm looking to install a house alarm for my property and I require a little bit of assistance finding the right piece of kit for me. Ideally I want the system to be wireless. I want one of those Klaxxons which will alert the area if there was a break in. I would need 12 Pirs. 7 Door Sensors. 7 window sensors. I also want the main box ideally to be hidden away, and use a wireless keypads by the doors. (2). Also I'm not so fussed if the alarm bell has to wired up. If there is Wifi and connectivity then that would be a bonus. Please let me know if you need to know more information. Kind regards Hiren

Hi I'm interested in getting the Visonic Powermax+ Quickfit Kit (inc Wireless sounder). What Keypanel do you recommend? I assume it's recomended that you put the control panel in a closet or something and not close to the door? Also, can the whole kit run on battery only? if so, for how long? BR

Hi, Looking for a panel that can control a relay whereby when the alarm is set, e.g. when leaving the building, a signal is sent from the panel to a relay. This signal causes the relay to switch and so makes another device active. The signal stays continuous whilst the panel is set. Conversly, when the panel is un-set, the signal is withdrawn and so the relay becomes inactive. Looking for a low cost compact wired model preferrably. Which model do you recommend? Thanks

Hi guys Let's see if someone can help me. I have a GD520, i have some zones set as 24h Function ( doors ), assined to diferent groups, those zones are already connected to existent RIO's EX: 3012. Now in some doors we installed DCM's, ( for entrace control propose only, not to lock doors ) card reader entry , REX to exit. Again EX: DCM301- DCM Reader 3011. On DCM i have only connected the reader and the REX button, the magnetic contact is connected to zone 3012 Problem: When acessing the door by pushing the panic bar, zone 3012 sets an allarm on group, this is working ok. Now, when i press the REX button or use the card reader, the zon…

Ticket Question Hi, I have an old pyronix panel and paragon keypad on a wired system, I would like to replace it with a wired telecom panel and a nice looking keypad, would the bell box and PIRs and door/window contacts need changing? Or could you advise what panel and keypad would be suitable to change without changing all PIRs bell box and contacts? Or do you have a nice looking keypad that is comparable with the pyronix panel Many thanks Danny

just wondering if you stock a piece of hardware which allows you to separately connect cameras and PIR sensors they don't really have to be connected together but would like remote notification of PIR sensing so cameras can be looked at

I have a 9600 alarm installed and need to relocate the keypad, problem being the keypad is on a under stairs wall and the internal bell box is directly behind the keypad on the inside of the wall, the wire between the 2 is about 3” long, can I disconnect the bell? Move the keypad and reconnect the bell, I know the tamper will go off but will it be ok to just put the code in when it does go off ? thanks Tony

The Texecom Premier 88 Control Panel (Part No: DBD-0121) contains the User Guide and Master User Guide booklets but not the Installation Guide. Is this available on your site and can you provide me a link to it?

Hi-I have recently bought a house with an installed intruder system which appears to have a fault on the panel pub. The system is a sterling unti but with no other distinguishing identifiers system installed in 2007 and the documentation identifies it as compliant with EN50131-1 security grade1. It has 8 programmable zones and 2 programmable outputs. It's connected to 2 LCD keypads( which are identified for use with nllcdkit) I am looking for a replacement pub or a complete replacement control panel Can you recommend a unit and advise a good quality replacement

I bought a complete system from you towards the end of September (orders 12995 and 13006) and have recently installed the alarm in our new house. All is well except that I get I am getting SETTING FAULTS showing on the LCD keypad from the zones that are on the exit route. System sets and unsets correctly despite this. Have I made a mistake somewhere? I have checked the manual and searched the internet but can find no mention of setting faults anywhere. Hope you can help or point me in the right direction. Many thanks.

Now I've finally manage to install the alarm and test it. Everything seems to work fine except for one thing. I keep getting error message on line (line failure). I have connected a GSM module and no fixed phone line is connected. GSM-module works fine as I received an SMS on everything that happens or goes wrong. I must have changed somewhere in the menu to indicate that the center is connected to fixed telephone line! though it is not. I'm very grateful if anyone can help me with this.
