[Ticket Question] Help with a 536r Scantronic Door Contact

I have installed the door contact (to replace one that ceased to operate).

 

I have followed the "deleting" and "learning" instructions for my 500r panel and acheived the "double beep" to indicate that the panel has learned the code.

 

However when the panel is "set", although all other sensors set off the alarm when activated, the door sensor does not activate the alarm on door opening or tamper (the led on the sensor does operate).

 

Please advise what my next step should be.
