princejim
I have the Honeywell ADE LCD Accenta 4 x Pet PIR Starter Kit, when looking at the instructions, it say the Tamper network should be series connected, if thats the case why is there no single core wire in the kit? ravis94
Okay I assume you have a reel or two of 6 core wire for powered detectors and maybe 4 core for door contacts/PA buttons Choose 2 colours and use them for tampers in each single 4 or 6 core cable. This is your tamper network. It shows a diagram in the manual doesn't it? I will have a look.
princejim
So if I have 6 core cable in the kit, I make the series connection at the return in the control box,. Thanks ravis94. I was a bit slow yesterday.
Secware_Tech6
Conventionally you would join the returns from one tamper pair to the feed of the next. You shouldnt need to build a series junction box etc. It is one way of doing it however.
