securitywarehouse
I am tring to select an alarm with the following requirements: Up to 8 zones LCD keypads (1) Proximity tag capability (prefer it built into the keypad) Easy to use Autodialler capability preferred but not essential (can add standalone autodialler) Reasonable cost The panel will be in an obscure location which wont be accessed regulary (no need for buttons) so will be controlled/programmed by remote keypad/fob Please advise which items would be suitable

energysolutions
Thanks for the replies Both seem good and I will investigate each before making a decision Is the MDT really as easy to programme/operate as the manufacturers would suggest? I have only really worked with Texecom products up to this point (Veritas 8/R8) and know them quite well, how do these products compare ie reliability, ease of use, how hard to set up etc etc Thanks in advance
Secware_Tech6
very similar. but if you have experience with one brand that will be easier than anything else
energysolutions
I`m leaning towards the MDT - are the manufacturers claims accurate that: There

energysolutions
This is probably a daft question but I assume that the alarm can be set/unset via inputting a 4 digit code into the keypad as well as the proximity fob?
Secware_Tech6
yes it can
