[Ticket Question] Do you need programming software to program the domonial?

Featured Replies

Having received my domonial kit it had no instructions with the panel.

I've spoken to Honeywell and they have emailed a copy but it seems to suggest that I need some programming software to program this panel...

There isn't any with my pack.

Can someone please tell me what's going on?

The domonial is a difficult panel to program. If you havnt had the training etc it will be a challenging excercise.

However the old domonial did need a palm programmer. The new version (that we sell and comes with an lcd keypad) can be programmed with or without this programmer.

Ensure you have the correct instructions for your keypad type.

thanks for the reply,

I have two immediate issues :

1... The panel didn't come with any instructions at all - I now have a set from Honeywell for the CMI800++

2... The keypad that I got as part of the kit has some instructions with it, but they refer to the programming tool supplied and make no mention of the keypad being able to program the panel.

I understand that this is a "professional" product, and I am an experienced contractor, but with any real installation guide I think this would be a challenge for most.

An urgent response would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
