I purchased a galaxy kit in January, just getting round to installing it. The manual doesn't tell you the engineer code, is there anyway of setting it when you first boot it or is there a master code I need to carry out the install. If so could you send me the code?

That lists the default manager and engineer codes.

I bought the galaxy g2-20 unit back on 27th April 2009, on order number ***** and had an electrician setup the unit. I need to make a few changes to the configuration now but do not have the engineer code (only have the master code). Is there any default code that I can try or is there a way to hard reset the unit (eg. by unplugging the battery backup and disconnecting from the mains)?

 

The factory set engineer code of ****** doesn't work, can you help on how to reset again?

 

Unfortunately the electrician does not remember the new code. is there any other way to reset the alarm to default?

Not that we can make public. The engineer code provides integrity of your system, it should not be 'forgotton'.
