[Ticket Question] Door contact on French Style opening doors

I need to replace 2 brown sensors for white sensors. The sensors I have are GS612 and a GS620 I believe. My front door is as previously fitted a normal opening door. The rear door has been changed from a sliding door to french style opening doors. Both doors also have magnetic opening strips in addition to the shock sensor. Can you tell me what the differences are between the sensors? Do they use the same wiring? Should I be changing them like for like?

Brown/white/grey etc are all the same detector in different housings. Assuming you have an analysed panel then yes they can be swapped.

Sorry I meant what are the differences between gs612 and gs620. Are the interchangeable? Do they have the same wiring. I do not have a maintainer. I bought the house with the alarm fitted.

a 610 is just the detector where as a 620 is integrated detector and analyser. on the gs610 there will either be an analyser in the panel or the panel has built in analysis
