phoenix
I have an old, very old alarm system! It uses a 4 wire CCL configuration which operated relays in a hard wired system. I would like to upgrade so that I can update/upgrade with a few more detectors. The Homelink 55 system appears to fit the bill as I reckon I could use it with my existing hard wire detectors and allow me to expand into new areas without doing more hardwiring ( add a few PIR's). As I get my neighbours to check out the house and feed the pets while I am on holiday I like to keep entry/exit operation of the alarm system simple. The question . . . can you utilise keyfobs into the Homelink 55 system giving the custodian a car remote type access device rather than proximity tags and key presses. Many thanks

phoenix
Many thanks for the swift response to the query, good news. The Homelink 55 seems to be the choice for me then. Does the 'system' come complete with the back up battery 12V 7 a/h? or has that to be added to the order? Thanks again
Secware_Tech6
no you need to size the battery depeding on the system current etc, upto 7A/h. Most people do just use a 7A/h as it saves the calcs etc
