Hi.

 

We took recently took delivery of a Videx 3011 Telephone Handset and have attempted to connect the system ourselves, as Security Warehouse did not help us with this on delivery. Although all appears to be connected correctly, the buzzer is not sounding when pressed. A fatal flaw, I'm sure you'll agree. Can anyone suggest where we could have gone wrong here?

Depending on the wiring config you could have ac call or tone call. It depends on the system. I would advise you get a pro in to have a look for you, as they are not always simple swaps.
