phlize Posted February 18, 2009 Posted February 18, 2009 When fitting a Scantronic 9651 panel recently I noticed it had a rechargeable battery soldered onto the PCB. I guess this is to maintain settings it case of total power failure/disconnection. Does this have a design life of 5 years like most other re-chargeables?? If so it doesn't look like it was designed to be easily replaced. And how would you know it needed replacing anyway - until it's too late? Phil. Quote
Secware_Tech6 Posted February 19, 2009 Posted February 19, 2009 That battery is not replaceable, if and when it fails. YOu are right it is to maintain settings and logs Support Quote
