I installed a system a year ago which I purchased from you and it seems to have developed a fault. Initially when a walk test was done it wouldnt identify some of the zones and then removed the cover from the unit and I cannot get rid of the cover tamper warning so cannot set the system. Do you think the control unit has gone U/S. steve

Possible but i doubt it. Id say you have an unrestored tamper somewhere.

 

check all the tamper inputs including panel, keypad and sounder etc.

Thanks very much, I have managed to remove the tamper fault but the unit still doesn't want to do a walk test, I have been wondering how to do a complete reset?

What is dispalyed on the panel.

Your install manual will tell you haw to factory reset it if needed, obviously we cant say on a public forum.

 

But i doubt a reset will help unless you have programmed something wrong.
