HI,

 

Should the KP-250 keypad play sounds?

 

I can hear beeps when i press buttons however there is no count down when the alarm is setting, there is no sound when a recorded message is played and there is no chime when the door opens...

 

Am i missing something? i have turned the volume up - the beep gets louder. I have pressed 8 and the alert(bell) icon is lit and the chime is set to on and melody chime.

 

Do i need another speaker installing or is my keypad faulty?
