I'm considering buying a small and simple CCTV setup with two cameras (one indoor and one outdoor). I was considering a Voltek H264 Full D1 Digital Video Recorder with 500GB HDD and 2 Genie WAHD2EB cameras (I want discreet white cameras). Are these items compatible? What else do I need to make this work? What kind of cables, etc.

Pyronix V2 GSM. I have 4 different voice messages on 4 different inputs. On activation of any input the first number is dialed, answered and accept code submitted.
When the call is ended the dialer recalls three more times with the other three messages and the accept code has to be entered for all three.
How do I stop the dialler making 4 calls for everyone alarm -

I have a Securit 800L+ alarm panel. Fitted by the housebuilder. I need to remove the alarm panel for building work. It would appear the siren is a Self Contained Bell or a Self Activating Bell. When I disconnect the mains and the internal 12v lead acid battery the siren goes off. Would keeping the siren
-Ve and +Ve at 9v to 12v keep the siren from sounding.? I have the installation manual for the alarm but I do not have any details of the siren box fitted. -
I have a 4 Zone Expansion Unit, GJD040 and a DygiZone enunciator and lots of Mini Opal PIRs. From one of your leaflets it shows 4 PIRS connected to each of 2 expansion Units. My GJD unit only seems to have provision for only 3 PIRs (A1,A2,A3). Is this correct or have I missed something? The two expansion units in the leaflet may have been Solitaire units. If 3 is the maximum can I double up? ie 2 PIRs in parallel? I realise the digizone will not be able to discriminate between the two but I guess it may work? If I was to purchase a second GJD040 can the two be connected together? How would the digizone handle Zones 5 and 6? Or would it be more sensible to have two separate 4 Zone systems? I currently have 4 zones, one for each side of the house and I now need to add two additional zones for a drive at the bottom of my garden and one for the rear of the garage. Could have combined these two additional zones into one of the existing but I would need to have 5 PIRs on one zone. Also you do not seem to have the Mini Opal GJD 332. Has it been replaced? If so what is the replacement? Can the Digizone be ordered as a separate item?

I ordered 6 ea. Optex 15m x 15m, Digital Quad Zone Logic(78 zones), Plug-in EOL. However the Plug in EOLs were not included. Do I need to order them as An extra? Could you please help me?

Hi - my Visonic Keypad is an MKP - 150 and I think it is dead. The Green lights are on but when I arm or disarm the system no noise comes from the Kepad itself and no Red light shows - nor an amber light for "trouble"
I am sure it is powered by mains so do you think it is "dead? -
Hi, Some advice please? Can you suggest which pet friendly PIRs are suitable for use with Scantronic 9448 panel which I am looking to purchase. Need a very compact PIR and noted the Texacom compact but is this only suitable for wireless systems as I noted from a search on the web that it uses a battery?

I have an A083-01 that was working fine in a Galaxy Flex 20 up until about a month ago when the panel started to report line failures. Despite several resets of both the Internet and the panel, the error would come back within an hour or so (line fail sensing). The diagnostics on the panel report that the comms are all good. The LEDs on the A083 also suggest everything is OK (Green on 0.1, off 0.9 sec) Orange intermittent = ethernet. If I disconnect the 435 cable I get an immediate error on the panel, so it is being detected OK.
I’ve replaced the Ethernet cable, used a different IP address etc, all without change.
However, I cannot communicate in or out via the unit. Rather than incur the (possibly unnecessary) expense of buying a replacement A083, I would like to first see if it is 100% at fault.
I hope this is enough to go on, but I’m happy to answer more questions and to perform on-site diagnostics if you need.
