Intruder Alarms

Risco Gardtec KITCP8LG2 I've a problem with one of the central units. It isn’t possible to set the number of times the bell is capable of sounding during a set period. If the system is triggered, the bell sounds always, even the third, fourth, … time when the number of bell re-arms is set to two. I’ve already disconnected all the connections and made a factory reset, but it isn’t making a solution. Please can you help me?

I bought a CQR SC570/WH Surface Contact (SC570/WH/MD/MULTI/G3) from your shop. Installation instructions are a bit unclear : to wire this contact as a single detector, it is written that one link from each row (Tamper and Switch) must be cut. But just before, they wrote that "at least" one link from each row must be cut. And there is a table which lists Texecom (I have a Texecom Premier 24 control panel) in column B. So, now I'm wondering: should I cut only column B links or should I cut all links except column B?

We are looking to put together a scaffold alarm using dual beam sensors possibly 6 sets with a control panel and auto dialler. What can you suggest please?

I'm seen your texecom starter kit - New Texecom Ricochet Kit 2 64 Zone Wireless Kit with Sounder. I want to buy a texecom direct wired bell box. Can I wire that into the control panel for this kit or will it only work with a wireless bell box? I have installed veritas r8 panel last year , I was wondering if it is possible to somehow have it so it contacts my mobile phone through my internet router when going into alarm mode, I know you can get a communicator , I have used these in the pass, but I do not have a land line anymore, like many people I use mobile phones, hard wired to my router would not be a problem , your help / advice would be appreciated ,

The Honeywell Galaxy alarm panel has a facility to send text message when alarm is triggered showing which sensors have been activated. If we connect a speech dialer will it disable this text service - To a private number.

Hi, I am interested in the Visonic Power master alarm to install in a carehome I look after. I have seen one of these systems before and it seems to work well. I need the system to have two door contacts, the most important feature the home is looking for is the door chime feature so I need this to be quite loud, is it? The alarm feature will be loud enough, they always are, this will only be set at night with no PIR required as there will be movement in the house, so still just the door sensors. Hello, we have just had an outside office built - detached from the house by 1m. We currently have an Accenta G3 hard-wired panel with three spare zones. If I purchase Texecom GEC-0002 Ricichet Expansion pack and three Ricochet PIRs, will it allow me to attach the three wireless detectors to the spare zones? Your advice would be most welcome.

Hi I ahve just purcahsed a Eurosec CP8L panel and a Pyronix Databell Plus Bell box, and would like you to confirm connections as this configuration is not listed in the manauls CP8L Bell+ Bell- Bell HO Strobe + Strove - SAB Tamper In the bell T T STB BELL 12v+ 12v- In addition is it possible to configure PGM1 to give 0v in Engineer mode to disable the bell box tamper. I just bought a SPC4320, SPCN310, SPCK623. The read me first datasheet tells: " you must ensure the peripheral firmware revision is the same as, or greater than the firmware revision of the SPC controller". On my SPC4320 controller, the firmware is V3.4.5. What must the firmware version for the SPCN310 and SPCK623? I tell this question because, the SPCN310 is in fault (error code E51) and the SPCK doesn't make voice annuniciation. What does error code E51 means? Thanks in advance SM
