Intruder Alarms

I'm looking at buying the dualcom complete with 1 year monitoring but I'm just wondering how that works who it's monitored with etc Do you guys do all the applications etc as I'm not a registered installer with them Or do they just liase with me direct? It's just to figure out who the customer would be. Me or the end user. Many thanks

The unit we received is a EE1215W Universal transmitter. We need to look at getting a receiver for it. The switch we have generates a wireless signal that has to go back to something to then make the actual switch. All we have is the transmitter. I would need to install a receiver into our product in order to make it switch on and off

we bought a galaxy 2-12 C012 some time ago and when we are trying to enter with the engineer code it is saying invalid code is there a way how to factory reset so the codes will be all reset please? it is a galaxy 2-12 honeywell intruder alarm panel

I have a 15 year old Eurosec system that I whish to refurbish/upgrade. A few questions: I have what looks like the CP8L remote pad - is there an better option to replace? Tag compatible? Would you advise replacing the main panel at 15yrs old? I wish to add another remote keypad (garage entrance) and a contact/PIR - best option (remote tag?) Can you recommend replacement PIRs? Is there such a thing as wireless door contact?

I want to place an order. We would like to change our G2-44+ for a GD 48. First i want to ask, can we move the settings from the G2-44 to GD 48 or do we need to set all settings when install? Can we buy a RS232-wiring and do it from a computer or do we need to purchase a sw to do it? Or is it free from honeywell? If not free, can we program all from the MK7?

I'm looking at the Honeywell galaxy flex system with the KO7 KP and ethernet interface, so we can use the Galaxy app to moniter. I need help to configure a hardwired alarm system. Do the Honeywell sensors, external siren and tag reader with built-in siren communicate over encrypted rolling code? Do these - FG8M, DFS8M, CO8M, IR8M, IRPI8M, DO8M, SEF8M and SPR-S8EZ, etc. I know the fobs and panic buttons do. These do - TCC800M, TCPA1B, etc. I am using the Honeywell Evohome Security at the moment, that uses the Le Sucre+ box. Is the Le Sucre+ box and the SPR-S8EZ grade 2 EN50131, if they are not grade 2 EN50131 is the dominion a better control panel to use instead? I know the sensors, external siren, fobs and panic buttons are grade 2 EN50131.

I am torn between the Pyronix 46 App, the HKC 1070 and the Texecom Premier systems. I want a hybrid system where I can have mostly wired sensors and outputs but with the potential for a bit of wireless. I'm comfortable with programming reasonably complex panels having done Texecom and Honeywell systems for my families houses. I've read a lot of great things about HKC on a Internet forum but I see you cannot connect the app to the panel without authorisation. Is this true? Can you provide this service?

can the master blaster siren be connected straight to230v supply via key switch without 12v relay supply,just need siren with 230v connection.

Hi i am after replacing an old alarm in my house, it currently has 5 pir's that are all wired, Door switches have been taken off when new doors fitted Think i need a hybrid system but would also like GSM control and internet if possible to access events it also needs to be able to connect to a Elmdene rapier 6000 sounder would like to add 4 wireless door contacts too preferably 2 way radio type. and 1 dual tec pir for the garage. seperate keypad with proximity fob or remote fob would be handy. last thing self fitting so nothing that is gonna take a degree to fit. what do you suggest and have you got it in stock.

I am replacing old ones of these. On the existing Optex EX-35R units is a sticker 869Mhz When I get these new ones, howh do I 'pair' it to the existing old Tunstall control unit, or how do I set the frequency to 869Mhz? Cheers in advance.

I need to buy one of the Texecom Premier Elite alarm panels (plastic case) and wanted to know if they have the latest Firmware v4.02 on them. My current Premier Elite 24 met with a slight accident after a mains power surge and it's destroyed it, so I want to replace it with an identical model. Hi, I was looking at something like the Scantronic 9651 to replace my faulty C&K Securitech 700L control unit. However I was wondering if there is something I could get that would replace my control unit and use my existing hard-wired PIRs, door contacts etc., but adds 'smart' functions like alerts to smartphone when the alarm goes off, remote unsetting to let a neighbor in etc.? Hi-I have recently bought a house with an installed intruder system which appears to have a fault on the panel pub. The system is a sterling unti but with no other distinguishing identifiers system installed in 2007 and the documentation identifies it as compliant with EN50131-1 security grade1. It has 8 programmable zones and 2 programmable outputs. It's connected to 2 LCD keypads( which are identified for use with nllcdkit) I am looking for a replacement pub or a complete replacement control panel Can you recommend a unit and advise a good quality replacement

My current home burglar alarm system 'Accenta G3' (product code 8SP401N) is broken. The transformer has blown in the box due to recent power cut in my area. I currently have a Accenta G3 box and a seperate wired user control panel linked to the box. I have 4 wired sensors in the house 2 for the doors and 2 in rooms. There is an alarm box on the front of the house. We were wondering if we could simply replace the box with the new Accenta G4 system but still keep the old G3 user control panel and the existing sensors set up in the house and alarm box on the outside of the house as is i.e. is it simply case of un-wiring the existing G3 box, removing it from the wall and rep…
