The control panel can be either Plus version of Pro version, would like to know the difference on pricing. And if I have the flood and smoke detector connected, can I configure the control unit to send out different SMS to different number based on different types of…

I just bought an AMDT and I'd like to understand the purpose of the SET wire. What is the Alert/Set mode ? Should it be left unconnected (and be in the standby mode) ? BTW, what is its current drain ? Thanks.

Hi, I'm trying to source a system for a mostly vacant property I own. Must have GSM ability, preferably with remote antenna, as most networks arent great. Minimum requirements for now 3 x PIR ( prefer wired ) 2 x Smokes ( prefer wired ) 2 x External siren/strobe ( wired ) 2 x Internal siren ( I want it to be loud inside ) Battery backup Most GSM systems seem to offer control via the mobile ? that would be handy. Also, although this is not a permanent install for now, I want the panel to be future proof. With perhaps addition of automatic-gates via mobile along with more PIR's and door contacts. Any reccomendations ? I have had one local guy price a…

  14. Are all in the list below list compatible with "Visonic PowerMaxPro"? - 2 Smoke Detector (MCT-425) - 3 PowerCode

  15. I bought a CQR SC570/WH Surface Contact (SC570/WH/MD/MULTI/G3) from your shop. Installation instructions are a bit unclear : to wire this contact as a single detector, it is written that one link from each row (Tamper and Switch) must be cut. But just before, they wrote that "at least" one link from each row must be cut. And there is a table which lists Texecom (I have a Texecom Premier 24 control panel) in column B. So, now I'm wondering: should I cut only column B links or should I cut all links except column B?

  16. I am looking to purchase some CQR FreeWave products and you have the 240v Interface and Keyfobs, but the 3 channel module. Is this something you can source and what is the price please?

  17. But I wonder about the price for Visonic Powermax Pro? Do you have Visonic Powermax complete as well and if so what's the price for it? If I order two complete alarm systems with accessories, is it possible to get any kind of discount? Do I need to change anything else except the power connection to get it working in Sweden?

  18. Would you be able to stock the klaxon H sires value back plate and covers as i have been using this type of external sounder. I would normally order 40 - 50 covers at a time which would be screen printed for free and 20 live plates is this something that you could arrange?

  19. I am keen to purchase a Texecom Veritas Excel Panel with LCD keypad and an additional LED keypad for a second door. I see your kit includes the LCD keypad and I can order a second keypad. I already have one R8 Plus installed and can program these. I am also keen to obtain the PC-COM cable to make programming easier. I have found one on your site. I wanted to ask if this was compatible with the Excel panel and also if the software is supplied or easily downloaded. I would also like to order a 12v battery for this. I can obtain this from you or from local Maplin - i would prefer to order all from one place if I can. Finally, I already have PIRs in place as this will…

  20. Can you source Elmdene ELM-PA-G3-SS Double Push PA

  21. We have an 8 year old 4-channel SD1 unit in a holiday home in France that has recently stopped dialling out. The other functions (message record/test playback etc) appear to work. When you send a test call (put into ready & press A1 for instance) it immediately plays back the correct message over the internalspeaker 4x but does not appear to wait to detect the dialing tone, or phone out. The adjacent spurred 56V socket works with normal phone and 56V detected at SD1 phone input terminals i.e. probably not supply problem. From listening on the line it appears be trying to pulse dial (it used to tonedial) but forcing tone via phonenumber T-prefix makes no difference nei…

Hi I am trying to get an MRnode to connect to an M800 all wired up and everything seems ok, it is detected on start up. I am removed the cover of the MRnode pressed the select button to go into learn mode, and tried to link a 702 wrist transmitter all seems correct, one completing the learn I have put the cover back on to take the MRnode out of learn mode, but as soon as this happens I get an alert from the panel saying Lost device (or something along those lines) and the MRnode doesn't show on the network! Any ideas?? Thanks Richard

I have purchased a belle and two twin alerts by pynonix (order no 33462) to install on a scantronic 9752 panel. Neither the scantronic nor either belle/twinalert manuals match each other so would like some guidance on wiring these up. The scantronic manual has the following output:NO1, NO2, Tr, 12V AUX and 0V, and a separate +, and LS for internal loudspeaker. The belle has B-, B+, BA, STB, SPARE, BT and TF, The twin alert has 12V+, 12V-, SPK and BA The belle shows the following connections for scantronic: B+ = 12V B- = 0v BA = BELL STB = STROBE- BT = TR TF = 0V The TwinAlert has: 12V+ = +12V 12V- = 0V SPK = SPKR (low) BA = BELL The s…

  24. Hello, I resently puschased a PowerMater 10 alarm system from you and am now starting to install the equipment. There is a problem with the display on the master unit, it seems like it doesnt remove some of the characters and some texts looks really weird. For example, int the start screen it says "15:16EADY : " where i guess it should say "15:16 : READY ". If I have a fault it switches between "NOT READY TRBL" and "15:16EADY : " There are also some really strange characters for the zone naming when I try to add equipment to the system. Everything else seems to be working though, I can add equipment and arm/disarm the system. I have tried doing a "Factor…

Attached is a wiring diagram for 'Double Pole', 'EOL' and using a Risco Guardtec CPX 'Zone Doubling' Conventional Double pole requires a pair for each part of the detection device, ie 'Alarm' and 'Tamper'. Wiring the Tamper Circuit as double pole will require a global tamper, this means that all devices with tamper protection are wired in series into the tamper connections of the control panel. Zone wiring is then wired normally straight into the relevant zone connection. This has the advantage of being simpler to understand, but has the disadvantage of a global tamper, ie being able to identify the device in tamper is impossible. Lower end panels only offer Double Po…
